2) I've worked out I'm due for a tax refund, as I was last year, once the Inland Revenue do the calculations.
3) After entering a ghost story competition, I've been contracted to say that though my entry was not one of the three winners but had got into the last twenty-five, when I know there are more than three hundred entrants each time.

1. I got to take my 4 year old son into nursery for the first time since he started during the pandemic - they’re only just letting parents in the building. He was so excited to show me his tray with his name on and all the toys. 
2. He said he would miss me and gave me a kiss (usually he’s too busy to even acknowledge me leaving him).
3. Put a playlist on whilst I clean up - it’s cheering me up and making it feel less like a chore.

I'm getting out of the house and meeting friends for a run and chat tonight (I got a puppy a couple of weeks ago and feel like I've done nothing myself since so looking forward to some me time)

It’s peony season and I bought my first bunch today. They are stunning.
What shade/colour did you get?
Very dark pink , almost red. They are beautiful. Will post a pic tomorrow when they open up more.
Oh my favourite shade. For some reason I'm only seeing the creamy/yellow ones around my way Hoping to see more colours soon.
