I’ve found a book I can’t put down and I spent ages in the garden reading yesterday, felt really relaxed
I kept seeing the same lady on my dog walk for months on end and we’ve been chatting. Met up with her yesterday for a walk and it was a good laugh
Managed to catch a bit of a tan in the garden

Child free morning. My husband made breakfast and we ate it in the garden all leisurely with newspapers.
Got some sandals from sainsburys, similar to the DM ones I've been looking at ...but cheaper
, also got 25% off.
Tried my first limoncello spritz. May be my summer drink

My Mum and Dad turned up in the afternoon, they'd been to the garden centre and bought us some sun loungers for the garden!
Had an early bubble bath, did a face mask, then when I got out I used my new coconut body moisturiser, painted my toe nails and did my skincare

Realised today I am on track to hit my first big weight loss milestone this week - 20 pounds down Woke up in a bad mood but managed to shift it into a good mood with some mindfulness and humour Meeting a good friend today that I haven’t seen in over a year. I miss them but we’re far away from each other nowSurvived a crappy day at work!

- so proud of myself today; I suffered terrible driving anxiety for YEARS after the birth of my eldest daughter and would only drive very familiar “safe” routes and pretty much never on a roads or dual carriageways. I would have to do a recce drive if she was going to be in the car. Today I drove both children 20 miles away and back to a town I’ve never been to and I was so calm the whole time! Been bombing about all day on dual carriageways and aroads
- people being so kind today, a random woman have my daughter £1 because she thought she looked sweet and another gave her an icecream as they had one spare in their multi pack!
- my tiny munchkin has been very happy all day and I think she’s finally realised she has feet
