Is this the opposite of the rant thread? I might struggle to think of 3.

I put some chicken in the slow cooker and made Yorkshire puddings to do with mash and veg, like a cheats Sunday dinner and I really enjoyed it( even if my family didn't)

I liked my outfit today , probably because I wasn't dressed for wet weather.

I got my washing dried on the line between the showers.

1. I thought we didn’t have any Easter Egg chocolate left, but I found some.

2. Spending time with the kids before school starts back again tomorrow.

3. Lots of people have been cutting their grass today, so I could smell freshly cut grass when we were out. It’s a smell I really love.

Having a bop in the car to crazy in love and trying to explain how pagers work to the kids .

Everyone is occupied so I am going to eat a daim bar and watch Renegade Nell .

1-Finally being contacted by a recruiter who is going to find me a new creative role so I can be at home with the pup

I opened my eyes this morning and the big black snout of my labrador was an inch from my face, made me smile he was lying on his back like a person

I did a perfect poached egg in the air fryer

Two blackbirds splashing in the birdbath and flapping their wings at each other

Washed and dried all my babies clothes ready for their impending arrival

My 4 year old hugging me and saying ‘i’m going to miss you today Mummy’ when I dropped him off at nursery

Made a lovely curry for tea

I had an interview today and I felt it went really well

I’ve recently discovered that I like sushi and I’m obsessed so picked some up for my lunch.

Had a good sing along in the car.

These didn't exactly made me smile but made me feel better after spending an anxiety ridden Saturday.
- I called a couple friends to have coffee yesterday evening, even though I kept telling myself they'd say no. They said yes and I was able to get out of the house and have a good walk.
- While chatting to them, I made an effort to put my honest feelings and thoughts out there, without sarcasm, irony or jokes, and I felt better for it.
- Had a cry about something that scares me at the moment. It didn't solve anything but my chest feels a bit lighter.

Yesterday-
1) got to see baby girl at a scan again. Was lovely seeing her and knowing she’s doing well
2) my sister sending me videos of my 4 year old at the park whilst she babysat him for me
3) relaxing watching the 1% club after a couple of stressful days with a victoria sponge cake

Saw first pics of my great nephew with his sister and my sister.
Made a cake for my son’s birthday but didn’t have the right ingredients so substituted and it’s delicious
Been looking to move for years and yesterday found the perfect house

Not posted here in awhile as been a tough few Weeks. Which really should make me post more & embrace the little things.

My Cousin bought me a Food shop
Said shop's only substitution was Normal Pitta Bread instead of Mini ones

4 year old happy to see me and his Dad at school pick up time

My partner texting me saying ‘got you some treats’ after he went to M&S

Someone posted a video on Facebook of their little cottage this morning…. I couldn’t stop smiling at it

I caught up over the phone with a friend who I’ve not spoken to in ages

My son being so excited to put his new shark pyjamas on this evening
