Adrian Edmondson's autobiography has some interesting things to say about Rik post-accident.
That, and then his death a few years later, were such a shame.

Don’t know how true this is but this tweet has appeared on my timeline

Was there not a similar story about him some years back, that wound up being a hoax?

very sad about Michael Mosley. I’m avoiding comments on news social media. I know YouTube has long been the crematorium of decency, but Christ almighty the anti-Covid nutters were particularly foul when Moseley was declared missing.

The official search and rescue hsve questions to answer I think. He was going by a barman and then a journalist near a fence and a wall. How did the officials not find him? Very odd. Looks like he took a tumble. Whether intentional or not I doubt we will ever know

Survived going to space only to be killed in a plane crash aged 90, what awful luck
He went out doing what he loved! Flying. I suspect he’d have rather gone that way than any other !

Me and my husband quite often quote drop dead Fred at each other when one is getting on the others nerves😂 (normally him getting on mine, I’m angelic so don’t get on his nerves😇)

just come through as bbc breaking news on phone so true
I hope he'll pull through, always liked him back in the day when I used follow football.

However, it's usually the case when it's made public like this the outlook isn't great.

Yeah my dad is a huge Liverpool supporter and he's absolutely gutted. Like you said when it's made public, it doesn't have a good prognosis :(
