Your nan and my nan sound like sisters from another mister. Nan gets irate at the piss pad ads where the women are gaily peeing themselves during yoga, instead of making an appointment to see a gynaecologist or a bladder specialist, not waste their money on nappies. She's 88 and birthed 3 weans and has no need of a piss pad.My nan will be devastated as well. I don’t need another reason for the tv to piss her off. It’s bad enough she has a go at the care co adverts on ITV 3, she wants me to write in to complain as the people are clearly able bodied and don’t need the chair or bathgod help me if Vera gets bumped off she will make me go after ITV!
The healthy, slim, elegant, mobility scooter/chair lift/reclining armchair users also get her yelling at the telly too.
However, out in the wild, she has been known to mutter under her breath (or in Nan-speak, quite loudly) 'he'd have no need for that leccy wheelchair if he shifted a few pounds' - cue me rushing her away before leccy wheelchair using man runs her over.
