Fox have called Arizona? Sky and the BBC haven't yet and people are still saying there's a chance trump could get it. If he does then that's it decided. Hopefully they haven't gone to bed. Wish the news channels would clearly indicate the states that are now sleeping!

Lots of the states that haven't been called yet are because the votes not counted are likely to be from regions with different demographics (rural/metro etc) so you can't assume they'd be the same as the ones already counted for the same state. If that makes sense?
Yes they called it hours ago! I havent even bothered watching uk news just been refreshing fox.
Yes that makes sense, from what I could see it wasn't fair on Trump calling some states woth less counted than others. Thanks!

Genuine question ... do people truly believe and like Biden or is it the case that people are voting against trump? To me Joe actually looks and acts like he is highly unwell 😕

Potentially because of how close the count is in states like NC and GA? There's only a couple of percent in it so the remaining 6% of uncounted mail-in votes could make a massive difference.
That makes sense! They should call michigan and pennsylvania earlier then because theres a clear trump lead there.

It’s safe here right? There’s no such thing as a stupid question right?

can someone tell me what the eff is going on

But to answer your question, are people voting for the personalities? Because they should be voting based on policies. Have we learned nothing?

i think the issue for for many in America is they aren’t ready for a female (of colour) VP.

There's still like 35% of votes or something to be counted in PA though and although Trump has a 10% lead just now we don't know what those 35% of votes say. It's just too early to call on that. Same in Michigan. He has a 200,000 something lead on the vote but there's more votes than that still outstanding so they can't call it yet.

Politics for me for many years is about voting for the least worst option. I can't remember the last time I was actually happy to vote for anyone.

I feel like they made it this difficult to understand in the hopes they will confuse the American public into not giving a tit.

From what I can understand - there are still a lot of mail in ballots to be counted but it's very very close.

I know there are Trump supporters on this thread so I don't want to offend - I just cant understand why anyone would vote for him. I'm very worried for the next four years if he gets in

So i've been watching fox all night. Biden got arizona and minnesota when only 80 and 90% of the votes were counted. However now there is georgia, north carolina and wisconsin with a trump lead and 93% of the votes counted. I dont get it, why are they not calling it a trump victory? He is also ahead in pennsylvania, michigan and alaska. So he has effectively won? I dont get why they wont call it when they have for biden in states with less votes counted. Can somebody explain that to me? Its no wonder he's pissed off and threatening supreme court action
Is it to do with by how much they are in the lead for instance if Joe was 500 votes ahead and there are only 480 left to count it wouldn't matter if they were all votes for Don he still couldn't win that state. Where as if Don is ahead by 80 and there are still 100 votes to count it could go either way ?

yup hard to know who is winning.. a bit lost ha!
Still close but let's remember Hillary won the popular vote by 3m but was screwed by the electoral collage.

If Georgia flips blue that's huge. They've been a Red voting state since the 1992 election.

As I am if a Socialist gets in, the world needs to be very worried if Biden wins.
