The only interesting part: Alfie says that in 7 years he'll want to have 9 kids and be all tatted up (key word as usual = "I", not "we"). Zoe says that it's not physically possible, and as he walks away, you can hear him say "who says they'll all be with you". So yeah..

Wow, I just read that sex toy article and it’s really really bad. Twice refers to ‘penis owners’ or ‘penis-having partner’ - can we really not say men now for fear of offending the woke brigade?!

All the language is cringey as fuck and it’s patently obvious they haven’t actually tried these things out, just parroted out the advertising spiel in order to promote the affiliate links. Plus, a number of the toys are well over the £100 price point - one I think is nearly £200! Even if you buy that her audience has grown up with her, how many early-mid 20s have a couple of hundred quid to spend on a vibrator?! Really?

Not all men have penises and not all people with penises are men. The fact that they are using inclusive language is a good thing.
And more importantly, it's not about 'offending the woke brigade', it's about not erasing the existence of trans, non-binary and intersex people. Transphobia is rife, and with all the shitty laws that have been passed recently using inclusive language is the very least we can do.

Zoe's grandad died, may explain why she's been a bit quiet. There is a photo of him touching her bump (again, bare but let's not go into that) so I'm glad she did see him before he died.

To say someone will probably get PND is disgusting. Sounds like you’re wishing it upon her. I can’t actually believe what I have just read. Vile

Personally, I really don’t think the pregnancy speculation is cool.

For one, it’s a highly emotive subject, and you never know what somebody may be privately going through.

Secondly, it affects all young women. If we speculate about somebody in the public eye, this translates into making it “okay” to speculate about other women in our regular lives. I don’t know about you, but I’m not okay with thinking that somebody is probably looking at a photo I’ve posted on my Instastories and saying, “Sacha is definitely preggers, she’s a certain age/stage of relationship/wearing x after all.”

And then, on a much grander scale, this works its way right up to the biases that affect women in very real and serious ways in life, such as not being awarded certain opportunities, because somebody was speculating in the staff room about a possible pregnancy. I read an interview with, I think, Reese Witherspoon once, where she said that pregnancy speculation had affected her career badly in the 2000s, as she lost parts due to rumours of pregnancies. This, of course, happens to women who work in the “real world”, for want of a better term, also.

Anyway. Just my own thoughts. Not that I think Zoe will lose out on any opportunities, since she doesn’t appear to do much with her career. But the effects filter down to all young women. I once heard the phrase, “You don’t ask/speculate that a woman is pregnant unless she has told you, or you can see a baby coming out of her!” 😂 which I think is a pretty safe way to go through life!

Zoe dresses up… she gets flamed. Zoe going out in joggers and messy bun.. she gets flamed. She can’t win! So much mum shaming going on it’s unbelievable.

Zoe using being "submerged in motherhood" to not post anything which, btw, is her job reeks of rich privilege. Many women around the world would be back to work actual, real jobs at week 7. Not Zoe the Slug, no. She can't even bother to upload self-serving, self-congratulatory, boasting photos to stories.

I truly fail to understand who still follows this asshole.

whilst I agree to some extent (& I’m definitely not a fan of Zoe), it is relatively normal in the UK for mothers to take at least 9 months off for maternity and not be expected to do any aspect of that job whatsoever. Would you say those women are all lazy slugs? There are many things Zoe does that drive me insane but I would never begrudge her maternity leave or not uploading anything for months after the birth of her child, her Instagram is, after all, her job like you say.

I think the problem with influencers at the minute is actually that we all still try & see them as regular people, but they’re not. They’re paid a fortune for their work & can afford to take that time off - which yes is a privilege but if you were earning that much would you work constantly as well?

The one thing I think they should acknowledge is that they’re fortunate to be in the position where both her & Alfie can take time out to parent & bond with Ottilie - because most fathers (in the UK) get 2-4 weeks and then mum is on her own.

Some may disagree with me here (and I’m saying this as someone going on 12 month maternity leave soon), but just because some women in the world only get 7 weeks doesn’t mean every woman has to experience that & leave their baby at such a young age.

I'd love to see a video of them telling their friends and families, as well as them finding out the gender, but I just don't think we're going to get that.

That's the weirdest proposal clip ever. I know it was staged, but he just stands there not even looking at the camera and she runs over to show her ring. He. Just. Stands. There
