Oh my god, she’s actually made chicken tikka lasagna. Except it’s about 90% cheese, 8% pasta, 2% chicken tikka

It’s like she woke up today and thought “gosh, these arteries feel wide, how can I clog them the quickest?!”

I'm putting on my bingo card: daily post about the hotel breakfast, Panini and Bex having at least three different courses. Nina sipping on mocktails then girating about alone to the hotel disco. Eating out every night so photos of copious amounts of seafood with claims Nina loves everything she's given while her face tells a different story and really is just eating bread. Approximately 10954 selfies, they'll be aeroplane selfie, sunset selfie, balcony selfie, at some point Bex will declare she loves this photo while showing an identical to all the others selfie. Shopping, they'll no doubt spend most of the time at the local market buying a load of shit they don't need. Photos of Nina in her swim suit with no thought of her safety but none of queen Bex who probably won't actually go in the pool just sit behind her phone. Nina groping a statue.

The way Nina stares into the camera/at Rebecca makes me really uncomfortable. She's almost intimidating which is ridiculous at 4 but every video she posts of her performing like that feels like she's staring you out, then she does something like a weird movement or clinking the bowl with her class while staring into your soul and it almost feels like she's testing Rebecca, pushing her limits to see what gets a reaction. My kids the same age and I'd have serious concerns with her behaviour.
This! She scares the shit out of me. She is so serious for a 4 year old!

My little girl is almost exactly the same age as Panini and that's how I found WhatMummyMakes initially. I tried a handful of recipes and they were all pretty awful (I'm a decent cook so I wouldn't say it was my cooking the actual recipes were all very bland and I followed them exactly). After about the 5th inedible meal (apart from the cornflake chicken which is brilliant but she didn't come up with that I'd made it before) I left the book in a cupboard and didn't bother with her again.

As my little girl got older - probably around age 3 by this point - I'd followed her Instagram for so long that I started to get really upset about things. My little girl didn't sit perfectly at the table every night and eat every single thing I cooked. She was brilliant during the weaning phase but after age 2 totally changed and she is really fussy. She doesn't eat any meat at all despite it being offered. She loves fruit and veg, but things like pasta, noodles, potatoes...wouldn't touch them. Every meal became stressful and I was making myself ill worrying about her. It sounds silly but constantly having perfect Nina and her perfect appetite had me in tears a fair few times.

In the end I had to unfollow her but recently my sister in law mentioned her as her little girl is now almost a year old. Her friend bought her the first book and she mentioned the other day how she had tried some recipes and they were awful. I explained to her I'd had a similar experience and unfollowed and she brought up how the relationship between Bex and Nini seems really intense.

She has no culinary qualifications, no dietary or child nutritional qualifications and she is clearly not healthy herself. How is she in a position to advise other parents? I'm so glad I found this thread actually because for ages I thought maybe I was just being overly sensitive because as amazing as our little girl is when it comes to her appetite its been a struggle. I can't stand Nina actually...is that awful? Maybe I'm just being awful but I looked at her page again and she just comes across a spoilt, creepy wee shit.

Anyway I've rambled on like a mad woman...but she needs a good word with herself. Her recipes are manky anyway 🙃

I would be livid if I paid out for a spa day and someone else had taken their 4yo. The entire reason I’d be at a spa is to relax from my normal childcare duties 😂

The newly named ‘Wilson girls’ inspired by the highly appropriate and well known kids show the Gilmore girls have moved house. Nobody is sure if the other has moved with them or not. Their move to the countryside has allowed Rebecca to live out every 30 year olds dream of forcing your child to do colouring in the garden.
Nina has started school and on her first day she wrote a suspiciously well handwritten and spelled note about her dream to be a midwife when she is older. Nina also did some immaculately written post it notes for Rebecca’s new book ‘fast family comforts’ (don’t worry guys, despite it being a book for quick meals it still has a slow cooker chapter). So far no one has been thrilled to receive their post it note from a four year old.
Her new book has many new and original recipes that no one even needs (how to put things on a plate) or that no one would ever want. Everything she has made from her new book has looked like pure shit.
Other highlights from the last thread were Rebecca saying not to put pressure on yourself to bounce back after having a baby and blaming her general roundness on having Nina nearly 5 years ago. She now lives in the countryside so she needed a Barbour coat and despite it being about 3 sizes to small she bought it anyway.
Nina did a quite frankly psychotic rendition of you are my sunshine to Rebecca which still haunts my nightmares.

Maybe it’s the psychologist in me but I don’t particularly find Nina annoying because at her age she has no way of knowing that her behaviour is inappropriate.
She will do something fairly innocent like sing too loud in a shop and her mother, instead of saying ‘please be more considerate’ whips her phone out and says ‘do it again Nina’ and then films and laughs. She is meant to be Nina’s principal guide, teaching her what is right and wrong, but isn’t. So it’s no wonder that Nina then does more of it, because she’s being encouraged, praised and given attention for it. Bex is really setting her up to fail and she will be so confused when she’s told off at school for the same behaviours that are praised at home.

It’s a conversation I’m having with my four year old a lot at the moment - that certain behaviours are not unkind but they are inconsiderate. For example, shouting in the garden isn’t unkind per se, but it’s not nice for our neighbours and therefore isn’t ok. It’s something he’s starting to understand but obviously wouldn’t have thought about without us teaching him.

Put your fucking phone down and put my 7-8 tights on before you put my photo on the internet for all to see, it's called safeguarding mother.

If have captioned this if I still followed her,
Caption- stop exposing me, a small child, to strangers online. Take this off me and stop laughing at me. Get a grip, you narcissistic. And NO, I don’t like IKEA, National Trusts or antique shops and I only put up with coffee shops for the fucking food.

Fast forward 25 years - Nina’s group chat:

Girls: Yay!!! Girly day!! Should we go out for a really nice afternoon tea?

Nina: Nah, fuck that - my mum used to drag me to these things when I was a kid - so boring!!! Let’s go out in Newcastle and get smashed and take loads of coke!!

New thread title - “But rumour has it my best friend is only four” 🤣

absolute weirdo taking her to Adele at that age. I’d have been fuming if I paid for tickets and was stuck next to a child.

Successfully weans one child - thinks she's an expert in child nutrition.

Eats out 50-75% of the time - thinks she's an expert home cook chef.

Drags one child around the country to national trust sites and shopping centres - thinks she's an expert in travelling with kids? Has she ever been abroad with myNini? Or to anywhere unfamiliar? And honestly, who are these parents of lockdown babies who are scared to take them out? I call BS, more fictitious messages like her book Q&As.
