Practice what you preach Rebecca. I’m sure the tired mum who let her kid watch a tablet in Costa so she could have her coffee in peace wishes that you’d reserved your unwanted parenting ‘advice’ too. The difference is of course, was that she was just minding her own business and didn’t broadcast her parenting style to almost half a million people.

Fellow tattlers/mothers- it’s ppl like you who make me so glad that I found this thread on tattle. I started following WMM when I started weaning my child, my little one is a couple months younger than Nina, probably 1/5th of her size and eats about 1/8 of what Nina eats. At first I thought there was something fundamentally wrong with my parenting and my child, why wasn’t she shovelling food in her mouth? Why would she cry and scream in anything more than a 10 min car journey? Why is my child not fitting into bigger clothes? Why does my child not enjoy my company when out?
this caused me a lot of mental anxiety. It wasn’t good for me or my child. I began to obsess. Over every single little thing she ate or didn’t eat or how erratic her behaviour was whenever I took her out. I felt like my life was wrong, it doesn’t look like Rebecca’s, the girls r the same age, it’s not Instagram perfect?

It’s only until I found fellow mothers like you on here, that I realised, the only thing that’s not normal around here is Rebecca. It’s a dangerously toxic page, not only portraying unhealthy foods but promoting an unhealthy obsession with food and a creepy and smothering relationship with her daughter.
I realised that’s not the mother I ever want to be, nor should any mother. And since then I’ve started following my own intuition and my own child’s cues, and she’s eating better (albeit not like Nina or as big as her but we all know Rebecca sees her as a foie gras) and my child is behaving like a child and I want to encourage this innocence as it’s only for a short time. I do not wish to mould my child into a mini grandmother who enjoys afternoon teas with me.
rebecca needs to put a disclaimer on her page that her style of living is not the norm and she should stop acting like it is. Parenting pages need to approach their topics with caution. I’m glad I was able to snap out of my misery caused by Rebecca’s page, but others might not be so lucky. Parenting/weaning pages should be promoted by professionals only and should be heavily regulated. Not by any tom dick and hagrid.

I’m sorry, who doesn’t know what a blackberry looks like? 🤣🤣🤣
"I have been foraging for years because I believe I am a Sylvanian family character and I sleep in a feather bed and tell folk tales round the fire while eating my foraged berries"

Yeah, foraged all that Jus-roll did you Bex?

Well done and congrats to @jollycat for the winning thread title!
Join us on watching Rebecca Wilsons’s journey of self destruction by:
- testing how many thousand calories she can fit into a meal per day and legally pass it off as a ‘healthy eating’
-examples are pastries stuffed with cheese stuffed with more cheese.
- holding MyNini™️ ransom against the wall force feeding her food and demanding feedback when the poor mite hasn’t even swallowed the mouthful yet
- travelling to every single national trust site in the United Kingdom
- travelling to Costa coffee and Ikea and passing it off as ‘an age appropriate activity’ for MyNini™️
- by taking her of out school may I add
- MyNini™️ Wears clothes which are age 30-35 but that’s totally normal so don’t body shame plz
- still no sign of he who must not be named (the other)
- she don’t talk about Dad no no no (sing in encanto)
- refuses to put her child in a swimming costume because of her own insecurities thus resulting in Nina often engaging in activities in appropriate clothing
- likes to moan and bitch about her privileges and other first world problems: took to insta to moan about a free cake being placed on a napkin and how she hates it
- her content is all about her and nothing else, she does nothing to promote anything apart from her book and her big face
- don’t bother asking her for a recipe, you will be directed to ‘it’s in my book’
- her hagrid boomerangs are possibly the most annoying things I’ve seen in my life

notable phrases:
~ What mummy makes is a coronary artery
~ #freenina
~ Nina and mummy day
~ my bestie forever

I messaged her about the paddling pool. I said that it was so tasteless and surely she has more than enough money to buy her own, then why don't you donate this gifted one to someone in need of buy something for someone in need. And that everyone can see through her and that she was on the beg for days beforehand. 😂😂😂 This was before I seen the posts here about the size 😂😂😂😂 soo funny.

She replied to me and said please don't be mean to me it makes me sad

Tomorrow Panini will be saying;

“Oh mother, we are not the Wilson girls, (perish the name of the fobdoodle who is my father)
We are much like the Brontë sisters, with your progressive literature and me with my classic Victorian curls & haberdashery”

Chapter 12 in the Rebecca Wilson book of parenting:

When your child is ill, what they really really want is to be given a random gift to model and then have numerous photos taken for the gram. Forget cuddles and extra tv time. That’s for other, lesser mummies. You know, the sort that let their kids use iPads in Costa.
Whatever the problem, it can always be fixed by spending money and buying more STUFF. Materialism is a great value to instil in your children, the earlier the better.
Keep reading for more top parenting tips including ‘what to feed your poorly child’ (spoiler alert: it involves cheese.)

Whaaaaaat. When kids are sick, they say do whatever you can to get some fluid in them, ice lollies, flat lemonade, little bits of whatever they fancy. I’ve never, never in all my years heard a doctor advise tortellini served in chicken stock with a singular piece of carrot 🤯

I think you’ll find Nini is VERY articulate

“You’re my best friend mother”
“I’d love to be taken out of nursery today to go to IKEA”
“No coat for me today mother, I’d like to wear a sun dress”
“Please mother no wellies & waterproofs for a paddle in December, I’d like to wear a sun dress”
“Mother let’s do afternoon tea at a national trust … I want to wear a sun dress”
“Needs more cheese mother”
“Where is the mum guilt cucumber”

“Why do you pretend I don’t have a daddy you colossal butter mountain”

So it sounds like a board book of tactile food? Like that’s not my books. Rebecca Wilson That’s Not My Diet books. That’s not my tomato it’s too healthy, that’s not my pasta it doesn’t have any cheese. That’s my food it’s wrapped in pastry and covered in cheese. 😂

What MyNini hasn’t done -

Play date with nursery friends
Been to a local park for a quiet play
Cuddled up and read an age appropriate bedtime story
Had a lazy weekend in a blanket fort with snacks and tv
Spent time with her dad
Worn comfy clothes

What MyNini has done -

Been to Beamish (a lot)
Made friends with an ‘older’ couple who posted about it on fb (that was weird)
Been to Adele
Been to a NT (of course)
Been to the supermarket after school nursery more than once because Bex can’t possibly go in the day
Eaten toddler size portions from bamboo weaning plates
Had bare legs and sandals in all weathers

What Bex has done -

Boomerangs
Hidden her ring finger
Driven more miles than a long distance lorry driver
Crashed the WH Smith website

SHE RAN OUT OF CHEESE?!?! Poor woman must be having palpitations at the thought.
Surprised she doesn’t have a couple of slices of Gouda tucked away in an old notebook for emergencies such as these.

Hopefully have some this right it's my first thread 😬.
Well done Borntorun on a fantastic winning title, I've had to condense it a bit to make it fit, be sure to post a smug boomerang to celebrate 🙂.
To recap: Bex and mynini took a trip to Yorkshire, Bex checked herself in as Ms Wilson and wouldn't you know it the hotel thought it was her birthday again, what are the odds?
Afterwards she treated us all to her trips away with the kids top tips, book yourself into a hotel with extra crispy bacon, choose wherever you want to go, drag your child along with one pair of broken sandals and a tub of cucumber and you're sorted. You don't need a tablet, your child should gaze lovingly out of the window just pausing to let you know what a wonderful mother you are and how much fun they are having. You don't need appropriate clothing either, dress them in their finest party dresses and rejoice as they frolick through some poor farmers crops, don't bother going self catering either, that's for the riff raff no lady Bex and mynini like to eat out everywhere, oh and don't bother taking anything to amuse your child, just ask the restaurant to amuse them, it's the least they can do! (Bex arrives at the restaurants like Richard Gere in Pretty Women, "get my child some crayons, I'm going to be spending an obsene amount of money in here") 😂
Bex had a busy month, she's bringing out a new pastry bible don't you know, she can't wait for us to try all her new and exciting recipes, I mean this is the lady who bought us strawberry and peanut butter sandwiches so we await with baited breath 🙄 of course it meant two trips down to London without mynini, how she coped as a working mother we don't know but as she missed her so much Nini was treated to sleepovers galore while we can only assume Nina's dad was banished to the toddler bed. Bex has been sooooo busy lately and missed so much of myninis childhood she's taken her out of pre school so she can have some company, sorry I mean make the most of the time they have left. This obviously means trips to the nail bar and going to the cinema to see Downton Abbey, what more could a 4 year old want?
In other news Bex was invited on TV and treated us all to the dryest looking pizza you've ever seen, mynini isn't served such things as frozen pizza, she likes nothing more than a big bowl of muscles does our Nina, except she doesn't does she Bex? In fact Bex was feeling so super smug she shared some top tips about fussy eating she googled, I mean learned from raising her one compliant eager to please child, when questioned about her actual qualifications or experience she quickly deleted and blocked (sending the commenter straight over to us, welcome to the dark side 😂).
Apart from that long distance Clara has wracked up about 70,000 miles on the car (cost of living crisis really hitting you hard eh Bex), as ever eaten copious amounts of cheese, pastry, pork and schnacks (cringe) and dragged Nina around approximately 72 National trust sites. We would ask what's next for Bex but we really don't need to, I think we all know the drill by now 🙄
