I don’t ever really listen to the 2 Johnnys (obviously apart from the podcast the other day) but have to agree their egos in those 2 parts I did listen to was hard to bare Going on about how there’s pandemonium on Camden Street whenever they go near it and how they skipped the queue and just thought they came across so full of themselves

I’m full on convinced that The 2 Johnnies had heard about the GAA catfish and actively sought her out for the story for their podcast/show.
Maura makes a point of clarifying why Johnny DM’d her.
And he made 5 attempts to meet her. After 4 mad excuses, right at crunch time he still goes to the house for breakfast.
I feel like he was chasing the story. No excuse for the catfishing at all. And I think the girl needs some serious help, and hopefully nothing extreme happens for anyone involved.

Shocked she would go anywhere near a GAA pitch after this tbh. She shouldn’t be allowed around jerseys or pitches of any kind! her embarrassment is her own, she really is brazen AF!

The scary thing is she has done this to so many people and then when gets called out on it plays the victim, she nearly got two friends of mine kicked out of uni because they called her out on her shit over the county player and the lies she was telling she went as far as pretending she was at the All Stars with this county player. Confirmed in today’s episode that they’ll be doing a Part Three, they’re “collecting and processing” according to Smacks!

Smacks said they’ve had over a hundred people directly contact the lads who have been personally catfished by “Nikki”, going back to 2010. JB warning not to believe everything you see on WhatsApp; referred to the catfish as “one or two people off living their lives” Smacks also warning to take everything you read online with a pinch of salt. JB said he could tell ten more stories as extreme as the Ger and Colm stories right now.

Anyone like me, listening since pod 1, and all the Patreon pods since lockdown 1, so maybe about 400 pods in with the 2 johnnies - will know this wasn’t spun for a story. Between the weekly correspondence, Noel, Fong & the gas (loyal) listeners the lads absolutely don’t need to chase stories.
All these new listeners making assumptions just annoys me. Johnny B did great things for a sick family friends kid in lockdown 1 & I saw then that they honestly are decent guys, ever learning like most good men but not attention seekers like this. They wouldn’t target her in the way she did to him & others. And again let’s remind ourselves we would not say that if the tables were turned that ‘maybe a woman went along for the story’
