So, as promised, an update on my early scan this morning at 7 weeks, due to a previous molar pregnancy.

Twins. She thinks it's twins.

She started off with a regular scan but had to switch to internal because my uterus is tilted and I'd drunk too much so my bladder was squashing everything. She was just telling us how healthy the heartbeat looked, then she stopped and said "hmmmm...I think there might be 2 in there."

I have to go back in 2 weeks to make sure, because she said sometimes there can be a sort of reflection on the scan due to the waves it produces? But the more she looked the more convinced she was that there are 2 in there.

I think my head may explode 🤯😂

What an absolute tragedy. For all their crimes, nobody deserves such a cruel ending to what is suppose to be an amazing moment ☹

Hi everyone, currently in hospital 41 weeks and being induced. I had the propess just after 6 o'clock and been patiently waiting for something to happen since. Anyone else had this and if so how long did it take to kick in for you?

Hello everyone, a little update from my last post. I did indeed go into labour early hours of the morning from the propess. Well it fell out and when I was examined they said I was 2cm and I would need it back in. Then all of a sudden the contractions came on strong an I was 6cm and straight to delivery. Next examination I was 9cm, too late for epidural, baby was in an awkward position an heartbeat was dropping so was rushed to theatre for an emergency section.
My beautiful baby boy was born yesterday weighing 8lb 12oz 🩵🍼
Wishing you all lots of luck in your pregnancies/deliveries 🩷 xx

We have just been for a private scan, me and my husband were both starting to feel a little bit anxious after a previous stillbirth, then the lack of symptoms I’ve had in this pregnancy were adding fuel to that fire after two pregnancies ruled by HG. But there our little bean was, measuring perfectly on track for what we thought and a little heartbeat 😭 It’s still early days but I guess it shows that not every pregnancy will be the same. I feel a little more at ease now and think it’s finally time to start enjoying this pregnancy. 🥰

Baby GG was born on the 20th April at 36+5 so slightly premature! Total shock as my waters went spontaneously at home at 3am in the morning. I laboured pretty quickly from 4cm to fully dilated but then baby would just not come out despite me trying my hardest! In the end I was rushed to theatre for a spinal and they attempted kiwi cup and forceps to no avail so baby was born via emergency c section! It was a total relief in the end after suffering fully dilated contractions for quite some time and they struggled to get the spinal in whilst I was having them 😖

it’s such a surreal feeling and as odd as it sounds I can’t believe my pregnancy is suddenly over and I really miss my bump! Baby blues is also a very real thing. Newborn cuddles however are so special 🥰

The hospital have told me I am now “provisionally” booked in for Friday. So trying to remain positive and manifest that it will happen and I will have bonfire night babies 🤞🏻🤞🏻
Thanks everyone for all your support yesterday I never thought the end of pregnancy would be so stressful!

I’m only on page 4 so apologies if I repeat what anyone else has said. A couple of observations…

1. the stains on her trousers!
2. Her hair is relatively neat on the car park pics and relatively messy and stuck up on petrol station ones, not sure what this suggests but I just noticed it
3. Her bum is so lumpy it even goes to the side of her leg
4. In regards to GD, I was automatically sent for a test with my second as I was ‘overweight’. Only just but I still hit that threshold, so she may have been tested and be fortunate enough to have strong hornmoans and amazing bloods and she’s escaped it
5. Absolutely diabolical that these pics have been released, especially before she’s even wrote her tribute to Jake. Priorities Lauren!
6. Anyone else pissed off that a young man has lost his life and a young woman may have life changing injuries and it’s alll about BYG?! I’d be fuming if I was a member of their families

Hi everyone
I had my baby Thursday at 38 weeks. I had a baby girl! She was 6lb 10oz
She is amazing I feel so lucky.
Any tips on recovery from c section? Now home and finding the pain bad, although the spd is definstely still there so maybe a bit of both.
Also baby girl also only likes sleeping on us... As in she doesn't sleep at all anywhere else. Takes about 5 minutes at most for her to realise she's in a crib or something and kick off. No sleep for 3 nights as in she didn't sleep at all, bar on me and that's dodgy. Any tips?

So I was right, baby Wophie was born today at 15:15 weighing 7lbs 4oz via vaginal delivery. 16 hour labour and managed on just gas and air until 9cm dialated.

I spent from 11pm yesterday until 5am today at home with cramps until they turned into regular contractions. Got told to come into triage and as we don't drive we'd be allowed to then stay in regardless of how progressed I was. I was only 2cm and spent 3 hours labouring in triage on a trace due to his heart rate dropping during a vaginal examination which wasn't fun. I think because I spent that time being active the trace wasn't picking up my contractions well, as an absolute witch of a midwife that just started shift told me to go home on the bus as I was in early labour and not in enough pain, and refused to even examine me?!
I just loitered in the hospital grounds until I got to the point I was squatting and mooing in maternity reception so took myself back into triage after only and hour and voila I'm 4cm! Moved to CLU where I progressed to 9cm in about 2 hours (so a big 🖕🏻 to the mean midwife from triage) where I laboured on all fours with gas and air and finally got my epidural at 9cm. Two hours later I pushed out beautiful baby boy out in 15 minutes.

I have to stay in tonight and unfortunately baby boy has been taken down to NICU intensive care as his oxygen levels aren't great and has suspected infection. He's stable and doing well, but I'm devistated as this is exactly what happened with my daughter 3 years ago so I really blame my body. I'm up on the postnatal ward alone hoping to get some sleep and will go see him first thing in the morning, but my heart breaks not having him by my side

Our little one was born last night at 40+4, I had a sweep at 10.30am and baby girl arrived practically 12 hours later surrounded by 4 paramedics and the midwife who had arrived for our home birth after I delivered the head 🤪
It only started at about 8.30/8.45 as I thought it was just cramping and braxton hicks from sweep. Until it wasn’t 🤪 A truly wild/surreal experience but so glad she’s here safe and sound.
Her big sister was super surprised this morning and them meeting was magical ❤

I've graduated from this thread 🥹 was admitted at the weekend due to pre-eclampsia and they decided to bring my caesarean date forward to today as it was safest for both me and baby. Really surprised at how well the caesarean went and was up and mobile within 5-6 hours, difficult getting out of the bed but no-where near as hard as I expected, this may change when bruising etc sets in. Good luck to you all and thanks for the support and advice you have all offered me throughout this pregnancy 🩷

Baby Neo has stayed put! We’ve made it to 32 weeks. It’s hard to believe 5 weeks ago the consultant said she was going to arrive imminently!

For those due around Christmas time, don’t forget to try and get an online shop booked now. I’ve managed to get one for 23rd Dec to save traipsing round busy shops with a newborn (that’s me hoping she stays put until her due date!)
