Freedom of speech is so important, whether you want to hear it, believe it, agree with it or not. DW, EH and GBN are absolutely pivotal in getting this story out there. ITV can’t just let him go from This Morning and not everything else….he’s clearly cocky he’s not going anywhere else anytime soon. He must not be worried about stories coming out either tomorrow.

I’m a victim of SA, from aged 8, by a relative, in the 70s. The (male) GP who examined me for the court told my mother there was ‘damage, but no real harm done’ and said nothing to me except ‘now then, we don’t want to get anyone into trouble with stories’. On the way home after quite a traumatic examination, my mother said ‘I’d be furious if I thought he’d done that to you’. I internalised that, thought she’d be furious with me, and never spoke about it again. He got off although he’d been imprisoned twice before for the same with his own and neighbours’ children, and again after me and my sister for a much more serious offence. We need to take all the ‘shame’ away from these offences, call it what it is, assault, and have no truck with keeping these perverts in their jobs or in decent society.

My last post on here before I went to sleep last night (time difference) I said something like ‘I hope this whole story doesn’t just end with the Phil and Holly feud’ I snuggle down for the night only for my husband to wake me this morning and say’you’d better get up, Philip Schofield is trending and your forum must be on fire ’

I know you know this and your question is probably rhetorical but it's because he will not hesitate to use the worst kind of emotional blackmail to attempt to cow a nation into forgiving his prolific grooming. Narcissists always insist they are the victim, regardless of how they've literally ruined the lives of others.

He's a 24 carat narcissist. I can't believe people are actually falling for it. Including Caroline Flacks mother. He absolutely should have had the decency to leave her out of it. But it's all about him, so he uses anything he thinks exonerates him in the public mind.

There's no way Holly hasn't known for years and has been covering it up.

I hope this story doesn't end here and his statement to save her doesn't work.

Recap - was mainly discussing our glee that he has finally got his karma plus many calls for Holly to also go.
Also discussed were other celebs who are the subject of rumours.

We also chatted about possible replacements for Phillochio now he's gone.
We can't understand why Piers Morgan seems to be defending him.
We feel sorry for Fern Britton being harrassed by paparazzi as she goes about her business.
We rather like it that Eamonn Holmes seems to be letting rip.

We are not sure what Rylan is up to and wonder if he might be coming back.
We decided that even though Dermot is a bit boring, we think he looks good for his age.

Alison remains a divisive figure. Some like her, some think she's crap and very, very gobby.
We want Martin Frizzell gone and we'd rather like a big shakeup of ITV daytime programmes because they are all stale.

Also there is a huge amount of us who left Digital Spy forums circa Feb 2020 because all of our threads and posts were getting removed. We are now here and feel a certain satisfaction that, a] we have been allowed to discuss Schofield openly without being shut down and b] that his long awaited come uppance has begun.

No one cares if he’s gay but I am extremely cynical about the timing of the statement .

He’s using his emotional state and sexuality to deflect from the growing realisation amongst a lot of people that he’s a snivelling , snide twat with a massive ego.

God there's s some arseholes commenting on DM articles. The one about the Jack Jones twitter vid has a comment saying MM was an ambitious 20 year old and knew PS was married so we shouldn't feel sorry for him. What do people not get about the fact that it's PS in the wrong and he's bloody groomed MM. I'm raging. I'm really struggling with the fact that so many people are not able to see what's staring them in the face.

As you know MM was running a pub down the road from me. Two weeks ago I was told he was being paid £4000 a month for the next 10 years. This is second hand talk of course because I haven't heard it from MM first hand. It may not be true but I wouldn't divulge it before in case it had a knock on effect. Now that everything is out in the air I hope that ITV do the honorable thing and look after this young man, and if they dont I hope he sells his story to the highest bidder.
