I trust Eamonn more than Phillip tbh regardless of how jaded the former may be. You have to be a pretty shitty person to not support someone "coming out" so it's not fair for Eamonn and Ruth to be called hypocrites especially if they were deceived by him which he is extremely good at.

BBC Newsnight have just started honing in on Willabooby… should be a clue on what’s coming for her. More and more people, especially within the media, will be piling the pressure on her now and rightly so. It’s time to pay the bill, Hol. You cosied up to Philth to boost your own career and overlooked so much abuse of power and for what? I hope it was worth it!

In reply to an old post on last thread regarding John Leslie......

I know JL, or did years ago and was part of his social scene back in the day when it all kicked off for him. Friday nights were legendary at his house....was he a predator? No. A sexual abuser? No. He was a young man in the public eye who literally had fame hungry girls throwing themselves at his feet everywhere we went. He was nothing more than a bit of a playboy, could get a bit boisterous after a night out and who threw himself into that lifestyle. But the real JL was an extremely generous nice guy, would give you the shirt off his back and was actually quite shy and a little awkward! The way he has been vilified and his life ruined (and that of his extremely lovely parents) is tragic. He opened up his house with generosity , got a bit carried away in the lifestyle but there was nothing sinister at all, and I was around him a lot. Don’t believe everything you read peeps! Although saying that, I do have a diff vibe from PS......
I find it highly suspicious that you made a new account and your first post is not to talk about the thread topic but to tell everyone what a wonderful guy John Leslie is and how he is completely innocent. This after several people on here have said they have seen him sexually harass young women even in public and one poster says they were harassed themselves.

Ulrika Johnsonn said she was raped by him when 19 (although didn't press charges), then 3 other women came forward in 2003 so allege rape and sexual assault. He was also charged with the sexual assault by another woman in 2019 for which he is due to stand trial in march 2020. Are you calling all these women liars?

So far he hasn't been spend any time in jail, but that says more about the justice system that routinely fails rape victims and has the lowest conviction rate of any crime.

The fact you dismiss his victims as 'fame hungry girls throwing themselves at him' is classic victim blaming and one of the reasons women (and men) are often scared to speak up. People like you support rape culture which enables the perpetrators to get away with their crimes.

We must believe and support the victims when they come forward. You should be ashamed of your comment.

If appropriate the police, if it's not illegal but in the public interest Dan Wooton?
It’s a very awkward line. I don’t want to rush into a blue light scenario. I know that sounds like an excuse! Just something has clicked in my mind and I also know MM… I just need to handle this as calm as possible

Sorry to rehash but the declaration of love at the NTA’s is really playing on my mind. Can you imagine what they even mean by ‘declaration’? Definitely enough of a spectacle for (at the very least) the entire This Morning team to have witnessed in the green room - which MM was then removed from. But the multiple soap stars, entertainment stars & celebs who attended too would have overheard/seen SOMETHING. There would have been hundreds of whispers and so many people who knew.

I would bet my house on it that Holly & Steph were well aware that night of what was going on, but I would also bet my life that there was a tremendous amount of gaslighting on PS part towards MM infront of everyone to play down their relationship. That boy must have been devastated that night, probably to have their entire relationship played down massively and Phil to get him kicked out of the awards. It literally makes me feel sick to my stomach. Again when at that point MM was experiencing what he thought was his first heartbreak, which I’m sure we can all empathise with and remember how awful it felt. But then the realisation probably years later that he was groomed and now for it to play out in every single paper and on social media must be crushing.

That poor, poor boy. I hope he has an abundance of love around him and if he ever stumbles across any of these threads realises just how much support he has.

I'm curious to see how this all plays out for Holly. I've always found her insincere and desperate to be seen as sexy with all her giggling at innuendos which she frequently deliberately walked into. Can she survive this? She has a lot of fans but I don't think she is that much of a draw on her own as a presenter. I personally don't find her particularly charming or likeable. Her blonde, giggly act has perhaps had its day now. The whole show needs a shake up anyway and needed new faces long before all this blew up.

This. I’ve just read he knew they went out together on Thursdays!!! Well if itv wouldn’t listen to him surely you’d be a responsible adult and inform the police right!?!! Even anonymously?
I don’t really appreciate him speaking up to be honest 😂 too little too late. The damage is done to the poor victim here. 😣

And inform the police of what exactly?
2 adults are going out on a Thursday night after work?

“Two consenting adults blah blah.” Okay. Right.

Except the young man here was a runner on a TV show that Phil had presented for nearly the entire time the young man had been alive. He was just starting out in his career. He wasn’t very accomplished in that sense, he didn’t have much life experience, and he wasn’t really someone Phillip could have related to in any meaningful way. There was one notable thing about him, which was that he was very young. We all see that and Richard Bacon and Rupert Everett are wrong ‘un apologists at best. I also wonder about a former children’s TV presenter rushing to defend a former children’s presenter from, at best, “unwise” behaviour.

Perhaps even if not technically illegal we can agree Schofield should have been sacked years ago? Unless we are all fine with junior employees being used and discarded. Let’s remember the earlier detail: the runner at Loose Women lost his job so the young man PS had had sex with, then lost interest in, could take his role. Oh yes, not illegal. That’s all right then.

Recap:
PS has given interviews to The Sun and the BBC (airing on iPlayer from 6am tomorrow)

Carol McGiffin appeared on GBN and confirmed none of the Loose Women liked or had anything good to say about PS

CMcG also confirmed that MM was a seriously troubled boy in need of help whilst on LW

PS has said he didn’t groom MM and they are still mates

HW is no longer talking to PS

PS was vaping on a Lost Mary throughout his interviews - clearly an attempt to distance himself from its better known competitor ELF bar following his viral vid saying “let’s get the elf smashed” whilst MM was seen dressed as an elf

DW half-blinked 29 times in tonight’s episode of GBN
