Going to come across as very classist, but they way they carry on is just common. Tag this, swipe here, AF AD GIFTED... it's just crass. £280k in the bank is NOTHING to the sort of people they emulate, if that makes sense. i.e. if you could afford to live like they do in terms of consumerism, you'd need a lot more than £280k in the bank. But then people who could afford to live 'like that' probably wouldn't. The amount of seriously wealthy people I know driving around in clapped out shitty old cars buying their clothes from supermarkets because the kids wipe snot all over them anyway is testament to that. They don't waste money on things, they invest it.

And they don't then flaunt all their shit on the internet...

I think a case in point is someone like UGG, who before she had the instafame and therefore crazily expensive kids' shit sent to her for free was using IKEA £19 high chairs for the twins. I bet the new baby will be Stokke'd up to its eyeballs. She's in it for the freebies, but it does then move her into the crass bracket.

Properly rich people don't bother wasting all their money on fads. It's the lower aspirational socioeconomic classes who priorities 'stuff', and that's who the MOFODS are revered by. And actually it's very apparent when you see MOD especially basically only commenting on wealthy instafamous accounts that she's exactly the same.

Social climbing is SO VULGAR. Bad enough to do it IRL, but in public on social media.. desperate.

Has anyone seen the horrendous tone deaf campaign that MODs old pal Style Me Sunday has posted about? An Aldi challenge living off £25 a week with the hashtag #mypoorestday. She’s rightly getting roasted in the comments. What is WRONG with these idiots? Getting paid to front this in this climate of austerity and food banks? I never liked her but this is next level vile.

Normally on these #reno accounts they do a “before” and “after” shot. Funny that the SODs “Reno” projects never show the “before” photos isn’t it (of what the house was like when they moved in). They want to mislead us that it was a pile of rubble bomb site when infact its just been on the front cover of Real Homes 😂

OMF...just reviewed my bank account and I’ve just saved myself £870 a month on apps I’ve been paying for, that I don’t even use, for 17 years...gonna check my husbands too!
Thank Fuck Sly is always there with these little household money saving tips for me, honestly, I don’t know what I’d do without his input...right back to making some planters out of those spare pieces of wood I found then onto those fence panels I’ve had just lying around for years.

Surely you're embracing technology, what a knob, maybe her family and friends don't have all the gadgets to embrace her back.🕺🚴‍♂️⛹🏻🤳WANKER
My grandma is watching her mum die slowly and painfully (she’s refusing fluids and my gran is the only one who can get her to take a few sips of water) and she can’t do anything about it because she’s not allowed to visit the home and my 97 year old great-grandmother understandably can’t comprehend video-chats.
honestly FUCK guys like him. I would have loved to visit her but I said my goodbyes in February because I knew this was coming and I’m a frontline doctor, so I may well be carrying the virus without knowing it.
he makes me so mad. I just really hope that his insta heyday is coming to an end and he’ll be forced back to his regular job without the free shit just because he has a pair of identical twins.

it all came together after the age of 35, before that it was renting, a second hand car, Ikea flatpack furniture, H&M clothes and one 2-week vacation per year.
That’s still quite jammy to a vast number of people in this country and beyond 😂

This race row is getting to me. I work with a lady from India. She is absolutely shit at her job. I dont want to get too personal about what I do for a living but working alongside her yesterday she made a dangerous mistake which had I not witnessed and corrected could have caused a lot of problems.

I make mistakes. We all do. My mistakes in the past have been reported and I have had to deal with them. Like anybody else.

I reported this ladies mistake to my line manager. I was asked to think very carefully if I want to go ahead with the 'accusation'. ??? What do you mean I asked? I was then told I had to be very careful not to come across as racist as in the past she had accused other who reported her of bring racist.

If anyone else that I work with made this mistake they would be called out for it. Because my manager is afraid of being called a racist this has been brushed under the carpet.

I am not a racist. If a white colleague made the same mistake I would report that too. If I made that mistake I would expect to be reported.

I hate that if we say anything we are automatically racist!
I was given a warning by my boss once because I held one of my team to account for a deadline having been missed. I get that we can't always meet a deadline; my issue was that I expect my staff to alert me and keep me up-to-date if this is likely. She'd had plenty of opportunity to warn me but didn't , so my conversation with her was along the lines of " You MUST let me know of concerns as soon as you have any inkling of not meeting the deadline...that way I can either help, or manage expectations with the customer etc.Not telling me and hoping to get away with it is NOT ok". She reported me for bullying and said I was picking on her because she wasn't British. I responded "No I was holding you to account because you made a dick decision to keep me out of the loop." Still bugs me now....I couldn't give two shits about your race/sexuality/political persuations....just do your fucking job🤷‍♀️

“Pile of bricks” is disgusting. They bought a house that had recently had an 85k renovation. They just needlessly redid things.

I step away from here for a few days and all hell itself breaks loose. Reading all your comments I knew it would be typically bad and tone deaf. But nothing prepared me for this. Oh my FOD. Lord of the mixed leaf salad. What the hell was he thinking??

Axa. A company renowned for its gender pay gap. FOD. Seller of his female offspring. Husband of Clemmie, the two faced midwife. Famous for building up women publicly but tearing them down behind their backs. I’m so appalled. I’m speechless.

I have zero sympathy for these two twerps, but they must be just reeling from their whirlwind fall from grace. Less than a year ago they were the undisputed and unchallenged head boy and girl of the UK instagram parenting world. No-one came close to them in terms of followers and prestigious advertising deals. Fast forward just 7 months later and they are social pariahs that no advertisers will touch. Even sycophantic stalwarts like budget Clemmie have distanced themselves. I wonder if Sly is just experiencing some extreme form of cognitive dissonance - this might explain his increasingly bizarre and inappropriate content of the last few months 🤷‍♀️

If you’d been caught bitching about your colleagues then you’d deal with the inevitable fall out. Which is what this is, just played out on a bigger and more public arena. And it’s not “life nowadays” to have something you said classed as racist, it either is or it isn’t.. If someone has found something you’ve said to be offensive then bloody well pull up your big girl monte and deal with the shit storm. She’s been caught out. No one made her do it. It was all her. She courted the attention when she was getting free sinks out if it and now she’s seeing what the bad side is like.

I have no idea who most of these other instamums are and have no desire to find out more about them. They are all identikit opportunistic materialistic egomaniacs. Wish they’d all disappear.

I agree- I'm sure it's not all as it appears. BUT considering they are represented by PR people I'm surprised they are deliberately making it appear so unequal. If the 'gram is to be believed it certainly appears that she is frequently off enjoying herself and he is the bearer of the domestic load (imagine the uproar if it appeared the other way!). I wonder if it's more to do with her decision to feature the kids less and have more variety on her account. His account is JUST Ottilie and Delilah/FOD appearing bewildered by life/FOD preaching about periods... he does not seem to have much else going on.
Their PR management team know the ODs target audience - not very bright, lower middle class, 20&30 somethings, who aspire to a 'posher' lifestyle and who believe that wearing Clemmie's tat jewellery or having a pink velvet chair will magically propel them up the social ladder. The type of women who used to dot their i's with a little heart at school and who think Radley handbags are aspirational. These women also like their men to be totally emasculated, totally domesticated and have never had a decent fuck in their lives.

Ergo, Clemmie & Simon are their icons. Both totally sexless, posh voiced, cutesy mannerisms, vapid and obsessed with acquiring stuff, stuff and more stuff.

I'm properly BAFFLED that anyone could possibly feel sorry for the MOD/FODs (not saying anyone here does) in relation to their recent drop in income/lifestyle meaning they might not get to go on 5+ luxury holidays a year, get their food for free, new bathrooms worth more than our yearly household income when there are around 4million kids in this country living in absolute poverty and are going without essentials. I think it's high time they consume themselves a hearty helping of humble pie, they will be absolutely fine if they have to downsize, put the girls in state school, those girls aren't going hungry, they have plenty of clothes to wear, they are warm and dry- I can't comment on their safety, come on Simon and clemmie maybe it's time to make that the priority here. Please 🙏

Oh- back on thread 6 I never thought it would happen to little old me and I honestly could never have reached this peak without all of you. Thank you for all the laughs and love. It really has been the highlight of my day after I thought cooking a three year out of date noodle packet would still taste okay, but it really wasn't edible. Fear not I made cheese on toast for dinner!

P.s If any ready meal brands delivered want to collaborate please DM.

I had been starting to feel slightly sorry for Clemmie. But that's passing. She's a keyboard warrior, who thought she could stop 'trolling', by trolling. No-one forced her to post what she posted, no-one forced her to write what she did about CB, that's all her own work. And after watching part of that tv programme, it's clear she's always been a bit of a spoiled bitch.

And just to reiterate @SirChenGin 's post, here it is again. I hope Destinology and Mark Warner see it :giggle:

Again, Clemmie wrote "It's an ad, he's got to say something inspiring to encourage the sheep to book a holiday with the travel company". I hope all those free holidays the Hooper's had were worth the travel company's investment, cracking bit of honest and transparent promotion there.

I wouldn’t worry because it absolutely didn’t happen
As a midwife I have to say -
A placenta is delivered straight into a tray and then put into a clinical waste bag. Both the tray and bag can be easily held with one hand. The other hand could quite easily hoik some trousers up. Plus you just wouldn’t just be wandering around carrying a placenta in the corridors. It makes no sense at all. Absolute bollocks. As people here have astutely said it is just done to make her more relatable/ seem like a lovely hardworking NHS midwife.
And that is so that she can continue with the elaborate marketing campaign the ODs have going. So irritating.

I don’t know how her managers allow it. To take photos in scrubs, on hospital property. I really don’t know how she gets away with it.

Also if someone has made a complaint to the NMC (this wont be the first she’s had). Would you not be a bit embarrassed and apologetic? Her response is absolutely unbelievable.

She’s been getting away with this behaviour for ages thinking she’s above it all. She’s not. It will all come to a hideous head I fear. Also slightly gleeful because she deserves to be called to account for her actions
