This is fucking gross tbh. To say that Meghan hasn't been a genuine victim of racism is wilfully blind and racist in and of itself. The fact that she elicits more hate from a lot of people in this country than thoroughly disgusting people like Piers Morgan and Prince Andrew shows how far we have to go in the UK when it comes to both the treatment of women in the press and insidious forms of racism. I can't get over the amount of people that still believe an actual hate crime has to be committed before we can call something racist.

My god she’s so patronising. Don’t compare your skin to me, the privileged elite with all my money and fabulous life. You poor thing, trying to compare your greasy spotty skin with my glowing complexion when you’re a mere peasant! Tahani at her best. And wtf do trans rights have to do with it. Why is she obsessed with trans rights ffs??

I noticed she was trending on Twitter this morning so I clicked on the feed and someone had posted a great reply to her. Someone had retweeted to her privileged skincare tweet saying she's so annoying and she replied with a sharp "get some therapy" - to which someone pointed out that being able to afford therapy is another height of privilege.
Yes, I was going to post about this - I think it's worse than how you describe it though. This non-famous person (with literally only 300 followers at the time) made an offhand tweet just calling her annoying - crucially without tagging her or even mentioning her name, only posting a screenshot, so god knows how she even found it. She's a public figure so someone calling her annoying on the internet and NOT tagging her is par for the course surely? Not only was her reply contradictory to her original point by advising therapy as you mentioned, it was also totally nasty, vitriolic and just not a proportional response at all: "Go to therapy. It will help. I also used to be a miserable, mistrusting, little troll, just like you. It gets better. 👍🏽"

When will celebrities learn the definition of troll, I beg.

Not only this, but she then quote-tweeted this unsuspecting person, whose only crime was to call a public figure annoying on twitter without tagging them, to her 3m+ followers on multiple platforms (!), encouraging a pile on and subjecting this person to a shit tonne of abuse, without considering the fact that they have a history of mental health issues and suicide attempts.

For what? Why? She is such a piece of shit.

I have just been googling Jessica Yaniv

I didn’t know any of this! Think I’ve been living under a rock!!
god this is awful!

I don’t know if I’m over sensitive but I really dislike being labelled a CIS woman - im a woman, adding the additional label or category is not necessary and I find it quite offensive 🤷‍♀️

Let's discuss her.

At first, I thought she was great, fighting for different body types, etc and body confidence. Recently she has started going after the Kardashians more and it is becoming obsessive and annoying. Kim released a makeup line which includes body makeup (no biggie, MAC has the same). But Jameela started shouting from the rooftops about how bad it is that people should be made to feel to cover up their flaws on their body.

Kim has a psoriasis on her legs which for years she has said makes her self conscious and uses body makeup to cover it up. There is nothing wrong with that. I get terrible psoriasis on my legs in summer and it definitely knocks my confidence a bit. If someone does something to make themselves feel better why is that a bad thing? I totally support Jameela shouting out about skinny teas and such as they are awful but I feel she is almost becoming a bit holier than thou and it is getting tiresome.

She said this today about Kim's product:
Jameela Jamil 🌈‏Verified account @jameelajamil Jun 24
More
Jameela Jamil 🌈Retweeted Kim Kardashian West

Hard pass. God damn the work to take it all off before bed so it doesn’t destroy your sheets... I’d rather just make peace with my million stretch marks and eczema. Taking off my mascara is enough of a pain in the arse. Save money and time and give yourself a damn break.
❤️

I am glad Jameela can feel that way but not everyone can or will. I actually feel like she is now just posting this stuff to get her in the media. She is going to come crashing down v soon. Many people are saying that she is contradicting herself. She says she is a feminist but then she is taking a dig at Kim for doing this. What happened to "let's support all women."

Reading back on her DMs to the journo I am so angry she’s done the whole “As a mother I hope you can be a nicer person” slant sort of thing. I HATE THAT SHIT. It’s up there with “What happened to women lifting up other women”. Two lazy as fuck arguments I’ve seen fellow women use when they’ve been called out on their bullshit. The mother one gets me the most you see it all the time online. “Anyway stop arguing with me and go look after your children” Woman, it’s 10pm at night, they’re in bed and I want to speak to you about how you’re a dickhead.

I hate this whole ‘women shouldn’t bring down other women’ narrative she tries to push on anyone who disagrees with her.
If you’re a shitty person, or have done shitty things I’ll call you out no matter who you are.

Personally, I think that her mother shouldn't have shared that email on Twitter. It screams narcissist. I am sure many women have had abortions without telling their parents. Jameela emailed her and that should have been kept private between them. She certainly isn't going to make their relationship better by sharing that.

Yes I read about it but why does she have to suddenly say she's suffering from it?
I don’t blame you for your first post - the thing about liars is that when you consistently lie about things, when you tell the truth people tend not to believe you. She very well could have EDS but when it’s listed alongside the other long list of ailments, I get a bit 🤨 Speaking of which, we haven’t had The List for some time yet so I’m reposting it 😂 Has there been any more to add since?

- cervical cancer twice that everyone on The Good Place apparently knew about but haven't once come to her defence
- mother says she Jameela is suffering from cervical cancer right now but doesn't want anyone to know (good job then, Shireen!)
- breast lumps removed/breast cancer scare/breast reduction, contradictory about timeline (2014, 15 or 16?) - possible cover for boob job and being sacked from Radio 1 where she accused colleague of bullying
- pre-cancerous breast cells 2016
- bee attack/car accident that left her variously bedbound/zimmer frame/wheelchair (variously 2002 or 2003)
- bee attack/car accident in LA where she took refuge in a juice shop
- bee attack outside the UN (fell into a UN peace prize recipient and nearly got shot)
- bee attack with Mark Ronson (who describes one or two bees)
- accident with Olly Murs causing concussion, broken elbow, broken arse, despite video evidence showing otherwise
- this also caused a broken tooth still held in by eyelash glue till this day
- boyfriend describes endless concussions, high fevers, six months of seizures
- allergic to peanuts (favourite snack) and shellfish from birth
- or alternatively as a result of mercury poisoning to her gut due to leaking fillings, which then healed and allergies went away
- allergic to peppers but still eats them
- allergic to her own tears
- coeliac
- had multiple teeth knocked out by kids with tennis rackets in a racist attack aged 7
- recipient of multiple racist death threats on social media
- mother says J's spine was damaged by a schoolmate with a log and another schoolmate gave her a concussion
- had crutches taken away from her as a teenager on a dance floor while kids laughed
- never had a birthday party (even though I went to one)
- teenage girls specially went round to her home to tell her they were going out and she wasn't invited
- was somehow extremely fat at school despite subsisting only on two-litre bottles of Highland Spring
- eating disorder
- Hashimoto's disease
- OCD
- PTSD
- multiple suicide attempts, usually when someone else is talking about suicide or her contradictions are being exposed, most recently blamed on Piers Morgan for exposing her bullying of Caroline Flack (even though J was threatening suicide before he did that)
- multiple rape victim
- nearly dragged into a car by a man aged 15
- 'grabbed by the vagina' on Oxford Street in the middle of the day in her school uniform until she bled
- had her leg ejaculated on on three separate occasions as a teenager, all on tube escalators
- taught EFL (or variously English literature) despite not being qualified
- model but preferred to say she wasn't/was/wasn't
- came out as queer when are was criticised for judging a show about Ballroom culture, but steadfastly maintains a heterosexual relationship
- knocked over by a dead sea lion while out swimming
-kidney stones.
- Ehlers Danlos
- Born deaf
- Type 1 diabetes
- Asthma
- Graves disease

Queer is an umbrella term for LGBT people, not all of us like the use of it though so. Queer in this context could also literally mean anything, she hasn't been specific at all as to HOW she is queer.
That’s what I have issue with. She’s been portraying a hetero-normative persona her whole career. It’s seems like she’s changing her narrative because of the show.
I had to un follow a few ‘wokies’ because all of a sudden they are queer. I believe that we’re all on a spectrum. I’ve deffo had leanings towards the ladies to some points. However, I think for me as a straight woman to claim queerness reeks of privilege. For her as a woman in a straight relationship to claim queerness just doesn’t sit well. You can be an ally without having to claim a bit of a culture for yourself. Look at Michelle Visage.
I just find her tedious.

Its mainly women that run gossip/showbiz magazines and columns and who have created that culture.
Daily Mail editors from 1992 to present: both men
Mail Online editor since 2008 who is also responsible for launching the Mail website in the US: a man
The Sun editor (who was previously their showbiz column editor): a man
Previous editors of the Mirror from 1903 until 2018: all men
Editors of Heat magazine from its launch in 1999 to 2010 (when it was brutal): all men
Metro editor: a man
TMZ founders and editors: both men

Dan Wootton, Paul Dacre, Piers Morgan and Perez Hilton did more to create than culture than any woman.

ETA clarity

From her Story highlights:

Screenshot 2020-03-02 20.44.42.png

"I consume minimal animal products due to my concern for the world and its inhabitants. The rest of the time I am vegan."

Yes, I am also vegan between the hours of 10.30am and 18.30pm, after breakfast and before dinner. WHAT? You're either vegan or you're not m8.

is it actually a wig? i thought it looked like one but I wasn't sure
Actually, I feel guilty now as she probably lost her hair during an attack by a swarm of ladybirds who saw her black hair and red lips as a threat. They chased her up a helter skelter which she then fell off, landing on a giant trampoline which bounced her high into the air, where she collided with a helicopter, fell into a field of llamas and was dragged into the nearby river by a 50 foot long alligator which ate all her hair. Luckily she was rescued by David Blaine who was preparing for his latest death defying stunt, spending Christmas Day underwater with a family of alligators who love Brussel sprouts. David threw some sprouts towards the alligator and Jameela was left hairless, but otherwise unharmed, but for a new and potentially deadly allergy to alligator saliva, which has had a devastating impact on her daily life in London.

Piers Morgan sheds some light on how Jameela made Caroline feel (didn’t she claim they were good friends?)

‘Actress Jameela Jamil, mental-health and body-image activist and self-proclaimed ‘feminist- in-progress’, has led the blame-game charge, tweeting: ‘It was only a matter of time before the media and the prolonged social media dogpile, hers lasted for MONTHS, pushed someone completely over the edge. Rest in Peace Caroline Flack.’

Jamil also called for the Government to launch an urgent inquiry into ‘the British press and their practices’.

As I read this, I had a sudden memory of an Instagram direct message exchange Caroline and I had about Jamil a few months ago. It was after Jamil attacked Caroline’s plastic-surgery-themed Channel 4 show The Surjury without having even seen it, accusing her of being involved in something that would ‘prey on people’s insecurities’.

This led to so many of Jamil’s one million followers bombarding Caroline with abuse that Caroline messaged me to say: ‘I’m struggling with Jameela, the hate she aims at me…’

Yet here is the same Jameela Jamil leading a campaign to make the media accountable for Caroline’s death. The brazen hypocrisy is staggering. And repulsive.’

There was an interview with her in the Times a couple of weeks ago where she said she didn't go in the sea any more because she got knocked over by a dead seal when she was paddling on a beach - I reckon she just makes things up to see what she can get away with.

Well that's their prerogative - I don't agree, but it's completely beside the point: JKR has made her views extremely clear and public, so she doesn't need JJ's help to be 'cancelled' in the eyes of people who care about transgender human rights. Nothing JJ says or does could make me feel any sort of way about JKR that she's not already doing herself.

Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson have both expressed the same views in response to some of JKR's statements, and they have a far bigger audience and reach than JJ. There's just SO many reasons JJ is a dickhead and this ain't it.
I wish there was an eye roll reaction.

Waving your cock in women’s bathrooms is not a human right.
