One thing I will never forget about lockdown is how people can collectively go along with something so fundamentally wrong. I never felt so alone as I did in lockdown. Alone is my thoughts, beliefs, morals. This is why this thread was such a lifeline for me. The one place where I didn't feel alone.

Cannot believe what I have witnessed/heard at work today. I am a lecturer at a big college, and all students currently studying Health and Social Care are going to have to be vaccinated to get onto our Level 2 and Lecel 3 courses next year. Absolutely horrific, I have had to explain to two of my unjabbed students today that they won’t be able to progress onto Lecel 3 next year because they don’t want the jab (and quite rightly so, they are 16 and healthy, why would they need it). I’m honestly thinking about leaving, I can’t continue to work for a company who supports this.

Wow my husband who works in central London just told me something quite disturbing (although as I have said before sadly not surprising) about the protests in London last night.
I made a previous post r.e corruption and provocation from the police (I had read comments) well if what my husband told me is true (and he has no reason to lie) it was actually worse than I thought!
According to my husband who spoke to a police officer (off the record obviously) Britain was on the brink of a revolution yesterday.(That I can actually believe)!

That's been a long time coming and building up but guess what the powers that be sensed this and deliberately sabotaged it!
What they did apparently is stop the trains from coming into London from the north and the Midlands where apparently the trains were full of people very eager to protest!
This was also confirmed when my husband spoke to some people who had travelled from the north east (obviously arriving much later and missing the protest) and they were very angry they could not attend the protest!
I just felt something like this (a sense of frustration that I could not explain) last night?
Something (a positive impetus and push for change) got blocked last night I believe this!
They had used the police (honestly I genuinely have nothing against the police but it's frustrating to see how they are used as instruments of oppression) to manipulate and influence and block people's free expression.
Makes you wonder what other tricks they used?
As I wrote in a previous post I can well believe that not only did some of them provoke protesters but I believe that probably they use people to infiltrate the protest and pretend to be protester's and cause trouble thus discrediting genuine dissent!
It's both heartening (we came so close) and sad (we were prevented from challenging the status quo more effectively)?
I feel in a bit deflated by all of this but also hopeful because the valid opposition (us the people) are obviously seen and felt to be a threat?
Some people in power right now must be breathing a sigh of relief but they are also scared?
We are all stronger braver more awake and more positive than we even dare to believe and this force (for good) is felt and is having an impact!
I feel so many things right now that I am not sure I can put into words but I just thought I should share with you all what I had heard.

Hmm, I’ve thought this in regards to a few illnesses. Take something like Type 1 Diabetes for example. Diabetics need constant insulin, blood glucose testing strips, and newer things like the constant glucose monitors and insulin pumps, all of which have parts that are replaced weekly/monthly. For one person alone, we’re talking hundreds a month. If a cure was found, all these suppliers/pharmaceutical companies would go out of business overnight.

I knew it wouldn’t be long the anti maskers arrived on this thread. I genuinely believe that anyone who refuses to wear a face covering just because they don’t want to should be denied medical treatment if they catch it and become seriously ill.

Dont get me started on the anti vaccers. I’ll get banned if I say what I think of them. My Mum nearly died of measles as a child in the 1950’s, it is really serious. Why put your child at risk of catching it.

She runs her own yoga classes for 50+ and constantly shares on fb her thoughts, as a result she’s lost 95% of her clients and doesn’t know why.

I have a horror story to tell about this sort of behaviour. It makes me angry just typing it.
A neighbour of a relative was pregnant during the first lockdown and "because she's asthmatic" she shipped her 6 year old to her new boyfriends mothers house for the whole of lockdown and didn't visit because she said it wasn't Safe. Once back at home and school someone in the class tested positive so she took them out of school and made THE CHILD STAY IN THEIR BEDROOM FOR TWO WEEKS!! Putting food under the door. No joke.
She got jabbed while pregnant, would make the kid sanitise constantly, wouldn't let the kid go into a supermarket or anywhere except school and house and pulls it out of school all the time if any other kids test positive and has drilled it into the kid that all this was needed to keep the unborn baby safe. Needless to say since baby has arrived things have got worse.
I mean surely this is some sort of emotional abuse.
Thanks to the government/media it's "keeping safe".

When people are claiming all the Q-Anon rubbish about Pizzagate / elite paedophile rings / adrenochrome extracted from stress chemicals emitted by small children being tortured etc, I can shake my head and be like "yeah, they're just crazy" - even when they're trying to guilt you into not joining their Save Our Children marches

But denying Covid exists is beyond disrespectful to those suffering the effects of it first-hand, those health-care workers putting their lives on the line to care for people dying from it and families who are losing loved ones to it. And then to be out there trying to persuade people not to have the vaccine-this makes my blood boil!

If you chose not to have the vaccine, if you are worried about the as yet unknown, long-term health implications or that it's been developed too quickly I can kind of get it and, although I still think we have a moral and societal responsibility to have it, I also believe in freedom of choice and can take the view of "it's up to you." But to then actively try to discourage others from having it-why would you even do that?? What do you personally get out of that other than validation of your own selfishness when people agree with you?! The more people who have this vaccine is our only chance of gaining some semblance of normality back!

The idea that every country in the world would get together to shut down global economies to track people through a vaccine when we are already tracked by our mobile phones is just nonsense.

The idea that big pharma/Bill Gates has invented this to make more money or that it has to be man-made... have these people not heard of diseases like Smallpox?! Or the plague? Or, even more recently, the Spanish Flu?!

Pandemics are not a new phenomenon and to think that it must be constructed by humans is incredibly arrogant, as if nature couldn't possibly have created such a thing.

I also think it's no small coincidence that these conspiracy theorists don't just believe in one, you tend to find they believe in them all. They claim that they "looked down the rabbit hole" and have "done their research" - when they actually mean they got sucked into watching hours of You-Tube videos! Oh the irony of fearing being controlled and tracked when you then discuss all this rubbish on social media platforms, on your mobile device which tracks you ALL THE TIME!

I just wish these "enquiring minds" would channel their energies (and their aggression-they get so nasty when challenged) into unearthing the facts behind REAL cover-ups, to actually help investigations into miscarriages of justice etc rather than spending their time spreading dangerous misinformation, trying to persuade those who are scared and vulnerable to join them and ultimately add to this crisis we're all living through.

This! The one about recommending you "do your own research", you're right, so patronising! And yet their so-called "research" seems to consist only of watching videos on You Tube from crazies in America, or self-appointed "doctors" and they will. only share screenshots of made-up stats with no source material, no actual, scientific papers!

When the "breaking news" banner popper up on my phone earlier with the announcement, I burst into tears. Felt so sick, like that was it, I had no choice but to get the vaccine. Less than 5 mins later all I felt was white hot anger. Anger that even though I know the mind games they are playing, it still got me, albeit temporarily. It's not about the nightclubs (29 going on 90 over here, not for me thank you!), it's the segregation, the two tier society, the thought of being separated from those I care about. But again, I don't feel this is the right reason to change my mind and to get vaccinated. If anything, it makes me even more determined to listen to my instincts and not give in to their threats. Because that is what they are, no matter how they are dressed up. Last time it was a vile Stepmom, "if you don't agree with me I will take away your freedom (phone/internet use/permission to go out with friends) or hurt you". [Just to say, I am not against punishments for poor behaviour, if I was naughty then I definitely deserved an appropriate punishment. But having a different opinion is not the same as misbehaving - she was a total narcissist and I'm still in therapy many years later because of it]. If that makes me stubborn or difficult then so be it!

As I've mentioned before, it appears everyone around me is vaccinated, my 18 yr old sister queued for 6 hours for her first dose she was that desperate for it. My 11 yr old sister is gutted she's not allowed it yet, my Mom can't understand why I'd even question whether they'd let her have it if it is opened up to kids. I feel so alone, but I can't do something that doesn't feel right, that I don't believe in. God part of me wishes I didn't feel this way, would love to not feel this constant sense of fear, anxiety, of terror about what could come next. I was always that child who was told off for thinking outside the box, forming different opinions that conflicted with 'the grown ups', of always wanting to be right. I wish more than anything that I was wrong about this, that my gut feelings were false alarms, that my fears weren't coming true.

Sorry for the aimless ramble, I just needed to share my messy emotional self with people who might understand. Or people who may completely disagree but welcome me with (virtual) open arms anyway. I'm so sad, and angry, and lonely and scared

Also what kind of shady business do people do to be so worried the government are tracking? Like even if the government microchipped me, what will they find out? Salary gets paid in to bank so HMRC and bank records track almost everything to do with my spending, my phone can track my location and conversations, even my car has GPS so could probably be tracked. Youre on CCTV god knows how many times a day (mask wearing actually makes it harder to track me on this but the CTs miss the irony there when they’re screaming about not wearing them), I’m sure if they wanted to access health records they could already do so and likewise get DNA through my dentist or whatever. My passport tracks which country I am in. If I was a criminal then fair enough I’d be trying to avoid some of these things hence most criminals use false IDs, Nokia 3310s and cash only but are all these CTs criminals?! No.
I don’t have anything to hide beyond what they could already access through systems we have in place I really don’t know what microchipping me (a very average person) would achieve? Most of the CT believers I’ve seen a year ago would post their every freaking move on Facebook anyway!

Well they obviously didn't. You haven't explained the origin of the document you attached to your previous post so the conclusion that the specific Covid-19 virus was developed 9 months before the disease was discovered is meaningless.

Similarly Oxford University was already working on their ChAdOx1 vaccine technology. It was that work that enabled the rapid development of a specific vaccine for Covid-19 once the genome sequence became available on 10 January 2020.

As with all conspiracy theories, there is an element of factual accuracy accompanied by wilful distortion to suit a narrative.

Normally we are radio listeners, getting impossible now with the sinister covid/Vax adverts every five minutes and every show being turned into a booster campaign by presenters, outings of unvaccinated footballers or "we need to talk about vaccinations, educate yourself, trust the scientists and don't believe Facebook theories".
It's a wonder we've got a radio and windows left.
This isn't the BBC but commercial sports and music stations. And from fat, heavy drinking, globetrotting,do as I say while I'm reporting from a packed venue abroad presenters.
Last night took the biscuit... boxing promoter was asked about plans for new year. Started into a tirade against unvaccinated, the importance of 6 monthly boosters (!) and how at a party last week there were 50 people, 49 vaccinated and one unvaccinated and get this... THEY ALL GOT INFECTED WITH COVID BY THE ONE UNVACCINATED PERSON.
Quite clearly the ramblings of a lunatic but my big bugbear was the presenter , instead of saying "nobody knows who you get a virus from" "how did you know their vaccine status" "anyone could have spread it", actually said "oh no that's terrible. Yes get your boosters everyone"

This is breaking me. The stress of waiting to find out what they’re going to do next and wondering when the passports and mandates are going to be introduced is getting too much. I can’t make any plans and I cant see a way out. I work in a school and I fear I’m about to be outed, as I think a child in my class has Covid and I’ll be forced to isolate for 10 days, with no pay.

I’m also finding it hard to relate to people who are just happily complying and questioning nothing - I don't understand how it makes sense to anyone? I’m rapidly losing respect for vast swathes of friends, colleagues and acquaintances and I hate feeling that way. If I didn’t have a child I would happily end it all.

Man on the moon 1969? Why has no one been back since (in recent years)? I’m not convinced it ever happened.
