not sure if you’re aware but james did actually birth amber and has been breastfeeding the last week. his nipples are extremely sore so please be kind and spread love towards james x

Lol! Harsh! Although I agree in terms of the fact he isn’t my cup of tea looks/personality wise by a long shot....and I do agree I prefer the vlogs etc when he is in them less as he can be irritating BUT......he clearly thinks the world of Carys and their baby and regardless of how it comes across and what anyone thinks of their relationship, it seems he wanted a family as much as she did and seems like the type who has been and will continue to be really interested in doing as much as he can to help out, as I think a husband should when you have a kid and learn all the ins and outs of things and all irritating features aside is probably quite a nice person. Unlike a certain Connor Swift who spends his time letching over teenage girls in underwear on Instagram, playing on his PlayStation and pretty much f all else! I can’t imagine him pitching in to the same extent or being as interested especially if it interrupts his screen time and so I guess if I had to pick one over the other, I know which one I’d rather pick!

I am so happy that she's had a safe delivery and the baby is healthy. I had a feeling her home birth wouldn't go to plan though, I'm a midwife and you see it all too often that the people who spend hours on super detailed birth plans end up having a totally opposite experience. Hearing their plan about the dimmed lights, 'surges' not contractions, skin to skin with James's hand on the baby's back, all questions going through James, midwives to stay out of the room as much as possible... I just kept thinking she had a totally idyllic view of birth and unfortunately this experience may have opened her eyes to the reality.

You said ‘I know in African culture...’ but there isn’t one ‘African culture’ there are many different cultures and parenting styles in Africa. I’m not giving you ‘shit’ I don’t think you did it in a malicious way but it’s just a generalisation to say that.

Jesus, some of the last comments on this thread are really vile. Calling a pregnant woman ugly and saying her body is disgusting.... this is just nasty and in no circumstance should you call anyone ugly and call anyone’s body disgusting! Not denying she has let herself go, like a lot of women do during pregnancy & clearly she is not keeping up with her fitness but no need for some of these comments!

Exactly what I thought, actually quite disgusted at what I’ve just seen. I get this is a gossip thread and people will say what they think but I didn’t realise that meant people had to be so unnecessarily nasty...

I wonder if Carys has ‘tested out’ the nappy cream on James’ arsehole too 🤦🏻‍♀️ Gotta be prepared you know!

So unnecessary for her to be trying out the pump before the baby has arrived, assuming breastfeeding goes well for her she won’t need to pump for at least a few weeks anyway. There’s clueless and then there’s this pair.

She keeps bursting into tears and James isn't even acknowledging the pain she feels, he is either just trying to squash it by reinforcing positivity or just ignoring it. Congratulations James, you didn't give birth to Amber but you've quite clearly stopped your wife from having any opinions of her own on the birth. I really hope it doesn't come back to hurt her in the future, but its clear there's a lot of closeted feelings there that were trying to escape in the video.
