I’m not jumping on the team Huw bandwagon. But I feel there’s differences between him and Schofield. Schofield is a massive cunt and barely anyone had a good word to say about him before it all unravelled.

Do you know what I noticed on that booty pic?

His house is very beige. Bland. The 35k would have been better spent on a decorator.

It’s not a case of feeling sorry for him.
To be at a point where you receive inpatient care isn’t something you can fake. It’s a serious situation.
I swear to God, people already taking the piss out of a man in hospital who is potentially suicidal. It’s gross.

Surely no one thinks mental health is convenient excuse when he has previous with depressive episodes plus a massive fall from grace that's heading his way would cause most of the population mental health issues.

The Sun are SCUM!

my thoughts - I don't like the thought of anyone suffering from serious mental health issues , or that they would end up in hospital because of said issues. I also believe he has maybe been struggling with his closeted sexuality for years and that is also very sad indeed.

HOWEVER (Really resisted writing Huwever btw) - at the end of the day, he played with fire and he got burned. He has not committed any crimes which is good but when you present the news every single night , report on the Queen's death, the King's coronation etc etc all while earning nearly half a mill a year - you can't expect to run the risk of playing away and not being found out eventually.

I feel very very sorry for his wife and children. Now that the statement is out, I'm going to go to the cinema with husband so he doesn't divorce me. X

You know it can exist that you think Huw's behaviour is unpleasant and morally questionable, but also that he doesn't deserve his whole life to be ruined.

The thread has been moving so fast I don't know if it's been mentioned that the BBC have said there's allegations of inappropriate behaviour towards colleagues too?

I don’t know what planet some of these BBC types live on, honestly. This sort of tweet sums up why the organisation at times seems in such a mess. A bubble would be putting it mildly.

Basically the mum of the first “victim” has gone against their child’s wishes and sold a story to the scum, the police have confirmed nothing illegal has taken place (IE that first report was bollocks and HE did not buy images from someone under 18), as has the “victim”. Now a man known to have MH issues is having MH issues due to it. It’s been a witch-hunt, the sun are disgusting. Nobody knows HE’s agreement with his wife and the fact she’s come out (ironic choice of words) saying he’s unwell but confirming it’s him shows some level of solidarity. I’m gonna step out of this now as it feels gross. Homophobia runs very clearly through a lot of posts here (and elsewhere). If the police confirm criminality I’ll take my words back but this isn’t a public issue IMO.
Edit- “sold a pet” (wtf) corrected to story
