As a sufferer of depression for many years myself I just rolled my eyes. It’s too easy to give any action to a mental health problem. It’s a cop out.

This has been used countless times by celebrities when I’m sure it doesn’t apply to ordinary folk who do not have the funds to be admitted to the priory.

Taking responsibility for your actions is a necessary evil to growing up.

I wanted to create an account to share something I think is important after seeing some of the comments here.

I understand people might not accept or even try to understand this which is absolutely fine. Especially those with children.

However believe it or not there are many older/younger gay relationships all around the world that are built on love and last a lifetime. There always has been and always will be.

To be clear I am NOT defending the accused. Far from it. If anything they are part of the problem. The only time people hear of an older / younger gay relationship it’s all to do with money, lies, deceit, blackmail etc.

But please please don’t assume that is always the case!

Many people all around the world (myself included) are only attracted to much older men. Everyone’s different but for me I knew when I was a teenager. The thought of sleeping with someone my own age male or female is actually repulsive. Don’t ask me why because I don’t know myself, it’s just who I am and is natural much like the way you reading this feels about your type. I had a very normal happy childhood with great loving parents. Very lucky.

I met my partner online and we have been together now for 10+ years. There is a 35 year age difference. I’m in my 30’s and he’s almost 70. We live a happy life and love each other very much.

So back to the point -

*Never assume that the younger one isn’t the one actively seeking the older male. There are plenty of dating websites specifically for this.

*Never assume the younger one doesn’t enjoy sharing photos of himself.

*Never assume there’s always ‘sugar’ involved.

*Never assume when money is exchanged that it forces someone to do something they don’t want to.

So to summarise just because the only older younger relationships you know about are sleazy please don’t assume all of them are. Far from it.

I'm sorry but can we please get a audiobook type version of tattle, so we all can get shit done, pets and kids can then be fed, we can wash/shower, anymore of this and my household will be eating off paper plates and using fingers. Between this thread and the Katie price one, it's like I have another full time job, my 24 yr old son is involved now too, we both were searching the internet for the now famous butt pic on a Sunday evening ....we both looked at other and said can you believe our days off work have resulted in us searching for the bare arse of a 60 yr old man .......so I'm definitely up for audiobook tattle, for all our sakes

No I'm not splitting hairs, the preferred term now is not child porn because porn is not something that can involve children. A naked photo of a seventeen year old is an image of child sexual abuse, I'm absolutely not trying to minimise it, just make people aware that child porn is a really unpleasant term and not one that's used in professional circles these days.

Hear me out, I actually don't think HE has done enough wrong here to deserve this. Morally maybe. It's sordid and a bit gross but what crime is it?? Think its entirely different to the PS situation

This witch hunt makes me so uncomfortable

My husband has just come back from our local pub falling over himself with excitement to tell me that the barmaids friend who is gay and in his 20’s “met up” and had a “thing” with HE a couple of years ago. The friend is local to us and my husband knows of him but doesn’t know him personally. Obviously I’m aware that it’s a friends, aunties dogs, cousin type of story and could well just be gossip. He’s putting the kids to bed atm but I’m contemplating telling him to go back to the pub to get more info!
