Feel for Mollie but she wouldn't have deserved any money. She coasted to the end. As greasy as Harry was he deserved every penny of the prize.

At the end of the day, if Huw has issues surrounding his Sexuality, and we don’t know that yet, sending pics and messages as a high profile member of the BBC , is asking for this trouble, he should have sat down with his wife , told her he has feelings for males , discussed of that was ok in the marriage, and got to grips with it in a better way than this.

All these people sticking up for him, I cannot believe it. Dan Walker etc. See how they’d like it if it was their 17 year old son he was buying nudes from! On what planet, other than this new woke, sycophantic one do we almost unanimously as a nation feel sorry for a creep?

If there’s one thing to bring us all back together it’s this 🙌🏼
Lets all kumbaya, and agree to despise Vine, who managed to spin this into a huge drama centring Jeremy Vine as the real victim. The Jack Monroe of British Broadcasters.

This is so desperately sad.

No evidence of a crime
No evidence any of these 20 somethings were underage at the time
Still no evidence of a so called crack addiction caused by Huw's money
A man in serious mental health crisis
A wife and 5 kids dealing with the fall out

I hope the Sun are proud of themselves

We've seen the mental health card played before and we know Huw Edwards had a history of depression. However that goes no way to excuse his behaviour, he is a married man in his 60's. Going on a gay dating app or Onlyfans throwing large amounts of money at photos of young arses a third of your age is just disrespectful, not illegal.

Also in such a high profile public role it was just plain stupid doing that, opening himself up to blackmail and ridicule. Actions do indeed have consequences and the one would say did they threat of exposure plunge him into a mental health episode rather than the realisation he was attracted to men or the shame he was paying money for arse photos.

For anyone who happens to have saved that photo 🍑 to send on to someone else...please don't do as I did and delete it when you've sent it!!

I saved the photo to my gallery, to send on to my mum, I also saved a photo of my dog that my husband sent me to show the vets.
You can see where this is going can't you! Got to the vets, told the vet I had a photo of the problem if she'd like to see it, she said yes, came around to my side of the table and leaned in and the first photo on my gallery that she got a full view of was HUWS ASS!! I was and still am absolutely mortified by the entire encounter 🥴
My dog's health problem is ongoing so I'll have to face her again and again all the while knowing, that she knows I have ass pictures on my phone 😑

Well, this story took an unexpected turn. Good for his wife to take control and protect their family (and Huw, I'm sure).

The status of their marriage or what they did or didn't know doesn't really matter, nobody's business but theirs.

I'm a bit leery about pointing the finger and saying "how convenient!" that there have been serious mental health issues happening which requires his hospitalisation, because anyone who suffers with MH will know that they often meet the same judgement: ("you look fine to me", "you're just lazy", "it's all in your head"...)

Imagine it. All of your colleagues (no doubt many of them who are friends) have heard the rumours, some even have to allude to the story live on air during news broadcasts. Some workmates will be laughing at you. People in the street will snigger and more uncouth members of the public will shout names at you. Let's not forget the N word (which is a bit of a leap as there's no evidence - so far, at least). Pictures of your arse (or Photoshopped ones?) are distributed with wild abandon day after day.

I know I'd be fucking depressed and want to hide under a duvet for a few years, so, seeing as he has previous shaky psychological health, I'd say it's probably true.

I think the press would be wise to give him a wide berth until he recovers.

If you’re a BBC presenter due on air in the next few days- and are feeling genuinely ill - now is NOT the time to call in sick 😅 You’d drag yourself in wouldn’t you? #notguilty

I would have preferred Jaz winning but you know what seeing Mollie’s blinkered trust in Harry fall apart was kinda worth it

Pffft. The narrative of feeling sorry for a lying, cheating creep of a man is ridiculous. He’s having a mental health episode because he’s been caught out.

My pity is reserved for his wife and children.

Right lads, I don't want to see anyone's bare arse cheeks in this thread.

Unless new bare arse cheeks emerge, of course.
Agreed. The bottom line is, although we’ve all had a good crack at guessing whom it is, it’s still very cheeky of us to throw names out there with gay abandon. All we should care about is the bare truth. After all, I don’t think anyone here can be arsed with legal cases.
