It's so funny because when you think about their relationship, its absolutely ridiculous. Most couples like them would've broken up years ago, because the second couples that literally have no interest in each other have a situation where someone goes off to college or works somewhere else, things start to drift off and they end up realising that without their secure bubble of being in the same place all the time, they dont like each other.

Zoe and Alfie have consistently been doing the same job for ages and have lived together with no real push. If one of them suddenly went off to university or someone moved away, it wouldn't last a second. New friend group, potential partners and hookups, new lifestyles would come into place and theres no way either of them would want to be with each other. The problem is they've been together too long and are used to it. Even when Alfie introduces new people into the group, they HAVE to like Zoe... shes Zoella, shes popular, everyone knows who she is and they suck up to her because shes right there in the house and in the same places as alfie, always clinging on. Zoe has never known a world where she has to think about things and find herself. Shes never been the outsider in a group. Shes never had a full long shift where her feet are killing her and she can appreciate a nice meal at the end of the day and going onto the sofa. She has never been in a group of people and decided whic one she found most attractive and practised flirting and socialising. Everything has been made easy for her and she has had no way of actually working out what she likes. The fact she doesn't even make videos anymore proves this, if she really loved them shed be doing them... she only liked them because she was the popular girl and loved when peope watched her. She knows she no longer is that person so doesn't want to bother. Shes so pathetic. She needs someone to come along and tell her she isn't that amazing. No one in her life does because they all meet her through work or partners or friends, where they feel like they have to be nice to her.

I dont mean this to be a bi*ch but genuinely this is sad to see. Other youtubers seem to have a glow up. She went from being a naturally pretty girl with her own cutesy quirky sense of style to a tracksuit wearing Krusty the Clown.

My now husband and I were together 10 years before he proposed.
Everyone has their own time scales.
Even if they do wanna get married. Which we did. And money wasn't our issue as we had a super small wedding like we wanted for under 1k.
Why do we have to be so critical of why folk arnt where we expect them to be. There is no set timescale for weddings babies houses etc. Maybe back in the day, but not now.
