My grandma used to say the reason Cliff Richard looks so young is because he never had sex?! So maybe that is your answer 🫣. Sorry I couldn’t resist
When people used to ask what was my secret to looking young I’d answer “Clarins and no sex!”

I’ve used these in the past many years ago (not recently) and they seemed to help:

Going to try this ASAP and will let my results known! I don't have a lot, but surely I have some on my cheeks.

I'm starting a new job in a week and am invited to travel to a business thing where I'll meet most of my new teammates for the first time in person (I'm 100 % remote) during the last week of September. Of course, I want to look nice, but I'm always stressing out about these things, even if it's a month away.
I usually go for a facial once a month, but my lovely esthetician is away during the whole of September and in fact, my last visit with her is already a month ago now . She's a single-lady business, so, unfortunately, can't schedule with someone else.

I'm debating scheduling something with another salon here, but I've never been there, don't know their products, etc., so I'm worried that I might drop a lot of money on something that might not agree with my skin. At the same time, I know my skin-picking tendencies, it's quite bad now already. There are two family events on the weekend and of course, I've some hormonal breakouts.
I normally have okay skin with the regular facials and it keeps the picking mostly at bay, but I've always had worries about how new people see me. Any advice? I know it's stupid, but I want to look nice. Doesn't need to be over the top with an elaborate coiffure or anything like that, just put together.

I know how you feel with the business meet-ups, I have one for a few days every quarter and it causes me anxiety! I want to look put together but it’s hard to travel and align good hair, skin and clothes
My advice would be to find somewhere a week before that does a bit of light exfoliation, microderm, dermaplane or a gentle peel (maybe the best option) if your skin likes it you’ll be glowing and if not it should be back to normal by then. I think there has been a huge improvement in facialists in the last few years so fingers crossed you should be fine, just explain your concerns to them… (or search for someone who uses the same products as your esthetician) If in doubt I do a plumping sheet mask in the morning - always improves things a bit!

Quick question and not sure if it’s been covered previously. Does it help to use castor oil on over plucked brows? I’ve previously had micro blading but didn’t keep on top as I found it too painful even with numbing cream. My eyebrows could do with a helping hand but don’t know what would actually work re:encouraging hair growth! Thanks xx

Hi. I’m much the same, I have recently bought a pair of jeans They are the John Lewis brand And/or The Venice boyfriend style. They are £75 but honestly the best pair I have ever worn. Worth every penny. I’m hoping that they do other shades in them too

I've discovered a great hair mask I must share with you, Maria Nila Structure Repair. I've very thick, dry hair but sadly complicated scalp. My hair is straight, but since cutting it shorter, the ends sometimes have a little "bend" in them. No curl at all, but I get nasty knots.
The mask smells nice and I only need a small amount of it, which is a bonus, it's a bit pricey. Goes on like a dream, not one of those hair masks where you need to gobble up the entire container because it doesn't spread. Left it on for three minutes, and it rinses out very well, again, not like those where you stand rinsing for infinity. My hair feels incredibly nice now, soft, but not too soft, with no knots at all, and very nourished and hydrated. Also not limp hair, it just looks very nice.
I'd say it's even better than that treatment I got at the hair salon a few weeks ago, which was nice when the hair was still wet but looked somewhat frizzy after drying, I've zero frizz now. Scalp is also happy, I applied it everywhere, and no itching.

I only use face wipes to remove my surface makeup (as I call it) then I remove the rest with micellar water and then use a la roche posey foam cleanser.

I would really recommend rapidbrow! It’s the eyebrow serum by the company that do rapid lash! I’ve used the eyebrow serum myself and it’s actually amazing I got it last year and still some left too

ETA I usually get it on Amazon prime as they normally have 25% odd off it

face wipes (or so that I’ve heard) are really bad for the skin. I prefer a cleansing balm/oil (I use either the Clinique cleansing balm or the simple cleansing oil) followed by the simple micellar face wash for when I’m wearing makeup. If I’m not I either use the aveeno oat cleanser or the Clinique pink foaming cleanser as they’re very gentle.

Get yourself a reusable one, the one use ones strip your skin and are so bad for it.
