It's like she's forgotten how to cook because they've been living on yellow sticker processed ready made food for so long, her older meals of the week vlogs were quite a lot better, it's all slop nowadays and either under or over cooked, there's no in between

The stir fry looked nothing like a stir fry. I've never had rice with a stir fry. Each to their own of course, but it isn't a stir fry without noodles in my opinion.
The beef curry looked like cow pat 🤢
Maybe her mum pretends she only eats certain stuff to avoid Helen's cooking 😂 Although saying that, we all have likes and dislikes.

I swear her mum hasn't even tried the "foreign" food. 🤣 How can you know you won't like it if you don't try? If my mum did that I would tell her to cook for herself. 🤣
Could her mum just not like her cooking, so rather than upset her just says keep it plain and simple. Possibly Helens version of various dishes may taste as bad as they look.

I remember her saying ages ago she always makes too much mash so freezes it in portions for when her mum comes to stay, looks like she ate it every day she was there 😂 I can't stand the taste of re heated mash, it really changes the flavour but i'd probably sill rather have that then the kilo of rice Helen dishes up! Back to sharing pitta bread between them from the takeaway too I see, surely she has a pack she paid 6p for in her freezer she could use?

I don't understand her to be honest, happy to pay full price for alcohol, paid £5 for 2 yellow label plants, but won't buy fruit and veg unless it's yellow label and will waste money on fuel going back to the store when it's been discounted. Plus a few weeks ago posted pics of her at a guns and Roses concert, bet the tickets weren't yellow label prices

And spends a good chunk of her evening hanging round morrisons to get the reduced items, she said 2-3 hours sometimes 😮

When she first set up her YouTube channel and before she started the yellow label shopping, she was always thrifty, but must admit I always enjoyed her vlog content, her meals even seemed less beige. I wonder what she will do when Ella starts nursery or school, I think Helen will be bored

I think a pp has is spot on, the mother is playing it safe with her meat and 2 veg dinners. 🤣🤣 She doesn't want a basic red sauce, or dune river curry 😂

(much needed) new management at her Morrisons prevents staff from reducing certain products, such as meat, below 50% of their original price

thrown quite the spanner in the works... Will Helen jump ship, traversing a treacherous motorway to the nearest Asda? Will meals of the week be cancelled for the foreseeable? Will Helen keep in touch with her contact(s) at Morrisons, including the security guard?!

I can never understand how the kids are so slim when they eat utter crap for supper like cakes, cookies, high sugar puddings, and then tonight she says the kids like the packet macaroni cheese pasta for supper 😲

haha that made me chuckle, I watched it and thought the same, much needed new management for sure. Also someone in the comments has said asda now do a 2pm second reduction, that won't please her as she can't get back for the school run if she goes at that time and there won't be much left to sell at 10p and 20p by the evening if the second reductions are done at 2pm. We're nowhere near an asda but popped into one couple of weeks ago as we were away for the day and must have struck lucky with the 2pm ones as got some meat, fish and cheese really cheap, thought it must have been a fluke but seems not if it's a new thing, oh dear that will ruin the beige buffet 16p a head dinners ;)

On the food haul this week, hardly any meat... Is that because it's not been reduced enough for her??

Meals of the week vlog and they are away.. You would think that with the amount of money they saved, not only it being a 'Sun' holiday, but all the yellow label shopping savings, they would at least treat themselves to a meal out on holiday. I mean, who goes on holiday and doesn't have a fish and chip supper.

I can't believe this is the same Helen I once watched for meal ideas and hints & tips on how to use the instant pot, just look at the state of that meal, apparently they're loaded wedges, they look raw! she did them in bowls as that's all the caravan had, why are they living like that on holiday? it looks vile, can't believe she carted a load of reduced food away with them. Im all for saving where possible and cutting back with prices being as they are but she's been like this for ages now, this isn't because of anything like that.

Once she became pregnant she completely changed, the amazing content she once posted disappeared. Ella is the sweetest little girl, but Helen seems to leave her with the boys, so she can do her own thing, and has done since Ella was tiny, she didn't do that with Olly. She's taken her to a baby group once, I would think that would be good for Ella, I know people regularly mention Helens 'anxiety', but if she's able to hang around morrisons for a couple of hours to get yellow labels drive to London to cut friends hair and socialise with or without Danny in public settings, surely an hour a week at a toddler /baby group would benefit Ella

Definitely a difference in her yellow sticker shopping since she said her morrisons was changing how they did them, only fruit, veg and salad bar items in the latest vlog, no meat, no ready meals, no hot chicken counter 10p items.........im hoping next weeks meals of the week will look a little better because of it :ROFLMAO:

Just watched Helens weekly shop, She bought 2 tubs of Hero's from Asda and said you get 75p off if you use the new Asda app that's not correct, you pay the full price but they put 75p onto your reward card. She clearly didn't even check her receipt to see she had paid full price. Her yellow labels are very different to previous shops. Plus she mentioned that Asda was a motorway journey away from where she lives, surely that's not financially sensible considering the price of fuel

Helen perseveres, for farmfoods calls. But her grubby nails will still satisfy trolls!

Seems as if we've got a bit of traditional non-90% offer Helen back... oh wait, we're back to yellow labels.

There's being thrifty and then there's being top of the reduction class. Her hauls are so tacky nowadays - I found this first and you didn't :))
Give me a good and honest Aldi shop, for which Daniel buys the bottle o' rum

Hardly any meat in her yellow sticker haul now it's not being reduced as much, surely if you like a bargain half price is still a good deal but she's hardly picking any up now it's not a pound or less. She used to get loads from the hot chicken counter and deli, huge piles of ham for 40p and bags full of chicken portions for 60p, not seen any of those for a while either so it looks like morrisons have really clamped down on a lot of it.
