I’ll be honest, I did google how many boxes 250 books would be and it’s a lot more than I thought. How I donate pls?
Book distribution logistics update. If you only have orders for 185 physical books then printing 250 seems excessive?
I could understand maybe if you have 185 orders you would maybe order an extra couple for yourself and close friends and family so that may make it up to 200? Perhaps it works out a better price to do 250? Or she is hopeful this will be a runaway success and the extra 65 will be like a first edition Harry Potter.
I’d rather people bought Bex book than Jack Monroes. Pretty certain the recipes Bex publishes will be edible. …unlike Mx. Monroe’s.
Fine, as long as it's published by 23 July 2023. If it's not, the moot point - comparison of cooking quality with Jack Monroe - is not relevant. Atm Ms Bex Kitchen (who hopes to make a career out of cooking and has alleged plans for a second cook book) has collected £6000, played with it for 13 months, and hasn't done much since her mental breakdown and life is very hard, yet plays hard, spends hard.

We have had the best parent ever to be a parent Bex today - along with the Bex that complains her kid hates shopping so she hasn’t been yet. Why on earth does she take him when she has oodles of family, a “bestie” and a co-parent that has him most weekends? If it’s that bad, leave “kiddo” with his X box (and supervision of course) and crack on with the very basic task of an Aldi run, pet.
The PPP parenting class that she is being sniffy about is a really basic course that lots of parents of vulnerable children I have worked with over the years have found useful. She’s gonna hate it though as it will say things like have basic rules and boundaries, send your kids to school. Have bedtimes and getting up times.
Well she will eye roll and sneer through it simply because she wants the end game of a diagnosis for the most neuroatypical kid ever to exist. She will NEVER admit to having problems highlighted about her parenting skills. She is the bestest parent ever to parent, isn’t she.
The sad thing is, if she is to be believed (and that is very much up for debate) then “kiddo” probably does have issues but they will be unmanageable as a teen without some form of routine, structure and socialisation now. She thinks she is “really fuxking tired” now? My god what a shock she has coming.

I've always thought that when faced with eviction, poverty and homelessness the best course of action is to buy more furniture.

the Bex Kitchen recipe pamphlet (due date 23 July 2023 latest), no way am I mentioning any of the:
• BIG motorcycle course like a family tradition, which was a 50cc* moped lesson
• screen time ban on the Switch, because Kiddo has 2 hours, but they've been hugely abusing that and going way over LOL LOL
• trip to Italy; and certainly not the juxtaposition with the
• demand to be prioritised for social housing
• "the landlord is adamant about selling the house" - yeah, because it's THEIRS;
• WHY SUMMER VEGETABLES LIKE CUCUMBER TOMATOES AND CAPSICUMS AREN'T AVAILABLE IN WINTER disconnect

It's great that she wants to protect her child. But as a parent those are exactly the kind of costs I do anticipate. Furniture is outgrown or things damaged because sometimes children play rough. Children with additional needs need a lot of transitional equipment which is not always free. They can also suffer with emotional issues that lead to physical damage. No one can predict the future but its logical to assume a child has needs which cost money. She's just shoehorned that phrase in as a sly tip jar rattle. Jack Monroe would be proud (or jealous).

In fairness, she was very busy and exhausted and also very self absorbed and on twitter and producing OF content a LOT and getting her nails done and having a lie-in

I was very confused and thought I must of missed something….
2(ish) weeks ago, how can we possibly afford to move?
This week, we can go back to nails and forest school etc etc, and book a motorcycle course? Did the two weeks off solve the financial crisis?
Book photos are looking good though, funny how much progress can be made when a few hours effort are put in! Still bewildered what was so bad about the ‘professional’ ones taken last year.
I actually have some faith in this new book deadline (don’t shoot me fellow tattlers!). I think the food will be better than JM but still don’t really understand what niche it falls into? At least foodie Bex is better than parenting lecture Bex

Some brilliant facts about Queen Elizabeth I from kiddo, nothing about her achievements or the time she lived in but at least he knows she looked old, had horrible hair and skin, had no husband but a secret lover and that there’s a theory she was actually male

A random self-published book of random recipes with no focus, by an unknown person in one of the most oversaturated publishing markets? I don’t think she has to worry about the impact on her many varied benefit claims, somehow.
