Anyone else follow her?

Yes I noticed her from interacting with RSM and JM. The kickstarter book has been pretty much abandoned, despite raising almost £6000. Right after she withdrew those funds she paid for a £400 tattoo.

She has been on Sky news at least once, talking about poverty, that she can’t afford to heat her house, how she has to work 3 jobs (she worked 6 hours a week for one of these jobs, she doesn’t work at all anymore). Meanwhile she eats out several times per week, pays for big tattoos, gets her nails and lashes done every month. She went to a very expensive restaurant in a different city recently, it must have cost £100 for the meal.

I’m not saying poor people shouldn’t have little treats, but she treats herself CONSTANTLY. She pays for donuts to be delivered to her house LOL. Just go to Greggs? Buying yourself a coffee from Starbucks every now and then is a treat, being able to spend £100s per month on beauty treatments and eating out is NOT poverty.

Her poor son is only 6 years old and she tweets about him telling mummy they can’t afford to heat the house. STOP PAYING FOR NAILS AND LASHES!! Give your son a warm home! She sends him to school with pink nails and pigtails and refers to him as “they”. She tweets about him getting up and making himself breakfast and lunch alone because she wants a lie in. I feel so sorry for him.

God I could go on forever about her. Can we make a thread about her?!

Another thing I want to add is how desperate she is for her child to be homeschooled, despite the fact he has told her he wants to try school. She laughs whenever he struggles with something at school in an 'I told you so' way, and totally thinks she's more knowledgeable than the teachers. I feel sorry for the little boy.

She has explicitly said the only reason she sent her son to school was to get him an ADHD diagnosis.

Also she claims that OnlyFans pays for her nails, lashes etc. but I have it on good authority that she doesn’t post content on OF, and didn’t receive many (if any) tips. She also doesn’t promote the site anywhere so unsure where these customers would be coming from.

She has/had a patreon too. I think at one point she had 70ish patreons subscribing for £1 each. Who knows if they are still being charged while she puts out absolutely no content.

Also she has a HILARIOUS Discord with the biggest bunch of freaks in it you’ll ever see in your life. I read it obsessively when they talk in it, they are all insane. Definitely worth a lurk it’s called Bex Bites Foodie Forum.

Needless to say the money disappeared and the GFM/legal case was never mentioned again. Then she managed another GFM for a friend to do with family court fees I think it was. That also disappeared. You probably already know all of this anyway. There was a tweet about Molly in Aldi who paid for some cereal she couldn't afford for her son and it went viral and she kicked off with some people who criticised her. Is that before your time? I've been following a while now but I forget what happened when.

Omg I didn’t know about the GFM! I knew about Aldi. Also saw recently her microwave broke and she was hinting on Twitter that someone should replace it for her, as she “couldn’t afford” a new one (despite £400 tattoos).

Her son hasn’t been diagnosed with anything yet but she already claims disability for him, and has also bragged about the carers tickets she gets because of this.

The problem is her side of Twitter is hesitant to call out any form of grifting, incase they themselves get “cancelled”, and so no one mentions any of it.

I think you're right people are scared to criticise because of all the labels and they don't want to be accused of being bigots. It's untouchable behaviour if you add enough public labels.

What a coincidence that her latest Twitter break has coincided with this thread starting!

I couldn’t care less about how she parents her kid (whether I agree or not) - we all chose our own difficult path in that regard - at least she hides his face in the constant “I am such a GREAT parent, aren’t I!” photos!

I do care that, like RSM and Jack Monroe, she has used her various health, diagnoses, alleged poverty and mental health battles to gather followers of a likeminded ilk - then proceeds to rattle that tin can in the same oblique way - ensuring her vulnerable followers are exposed to the grift.

I am also offended by her insane, Jack-like “I work a 100 hours and juggle being a single parent” when the opposite is clearly true. Her kid goes to his dad every weekend and she definitely makes the most of that! poor or not).

I am always amused greatly by her pretending to be doing a degree (she isn’t - she did an OU intro course that required no qualifications and doesn’t give you any qualifications. It is a course renowned at the OU for being one that yummy mummies do when they want to pretend they aren’t just stay at home mums.

I am amused by her publishing a recipe in a crappy magazine that was basically a taco spice mix instructions.

I am always amused by how she apparently has all these imposter syndrome style issues, ED and the like - but is addicted to filtered selfies and thirsty shots as well as getting the baps out for strangers.

I look forward to the tea being served here because she is definitely a rum one!

The only reason I mention her kid is because I personally feel she makes his life more difficult than it ought to be. In my opinion there is no need to tell young children that they can choose to be male or female. Now if she just let him be gender non-conforming, that’s fine. But she refers to him as “they” and has admitted to using she/her pronouns on days he has decided he is actually a girl. But of course that’s her choice. I feel it’s harmful.

I also feel for him in that she chose to homeschool but he clearly hasn’t socialised much. He attacked other children at daycare, she admits to using xbox as a form of home education(!?) which, knowing Bex, means she cba teaching and just lets him play for as long as he wants. Even the kids dad felt he was “addicted” to gaming.

She has tweeted several times about her kid making himself breakfast and lunch while she has a lie in. She doesn’t work, why does she need to lie in multiple times per week? I dont think she realises how damaging it will be for him. I started making food for myself around 10-12 years old. There’s no need for a 5-6 year old to be “independent” and making their own breakfast because mummy is lying in bed.

She has more than enough energy to treat herself, to sit through long tattoo sessions, to film and upload videos to OF, to go on nights out. She buys herself kink gear for OF but won’t spend a tenner on heating the house on a cold morning before school. They went to a very expensive restaurant in Edinburgh where starters are £15 and main courses £25. I’m sorry but if you are skint that is a weeks food shopping, or a weeks worth of hot water/electricity.

I could go on about her forever. The claims to an eating disorder when she’s clearly very overweight. She claimed to be so skint she only ate once per day! She’s basically stolen £6000 from kind people who expected a cookbook over 6 months ago.

She isn’t in the right “mind frame” to work on her book but she goes on dates, goes to concerts and has a FWB. She’s incredibly entitled, manipulative and knows how to work the system, and other people.

She pays to put her dog in the kennel on some weekends because she “needs a break” - from what I’ll never know.

She has a private diagnosis for him (paid for by a charity, allegedly) for his autism but hasn’t had a definite diagnosis for his adhd and has been told that him going to school will aid her in obtaining the diagnosis. I also think she mentioned mainstream schooling was in agreement with his dad who co-parents by having him every weekend and a lot of the holidays.

Of course, like all the stars of these threads, you can take it with a pinch of salt in terms of truthfulness.

Her logic is the teachers will be able to fast track his ADHD diagnosis.

Not sure it’s true but she has definitely said on more than one occasion that he is diagnosed autistic - and at least once has said the testing was private and funded by a charity. Of course, you will have to take my word on that because I would bet my house that a Jack style delete spree will happen prior to her unlocking.

Very much in the same vein as RSM/Jack - take it all with a pinch of salt. Along with a good half of her other over sharing and over indulgent tweets.

Ha! The bare legged and bare feet one? Surely the journo/photographer is having a laugh there with that one! I am cold just looking at it!

I don’t recall her ever sharing that article - but I am not surprised because every photo of herself is meticulously chosen and is both filtered, and from a very certain and very flattering angle. I remember her Sky News thing being shared and I genuinely wouldn’t have recognised her - she looked so different to the pics she shares.

Anyway Daily Mirror - follow up story for you …poor person can’t afford to put heating on but boasted on social media about having several holidays booked. Also boasted about going to concerts and gigs that my own (not poor) daughter spend hundreds to attend then made out it was #gifted, when I rightly guessed it was the MCR ones over on RoadsideMum threads. And raised £6K+ for a recipe book that will never ever happen. And clearly has a massive tattoo on the go even in your pictures. that will take a few sessions and cost hundreds (from benefit money). And went to forest school only last week, despite telling you they had to cancel it. It’s all on her social media - and I have hardly been forensic! Just because you hate the conservatives doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do your due diligence when an attention seeker asks for attention.

For the record I don't have an issue with people asking for help when times are tough. I do take issue with people asking for help and claiming times are tough, whilst buying all the expensive things. RSM JM and the Minor Grifter all claim/have claimed to be in a situation that isn't true. If you need a microwave so desperately then you forego the fancy nails for a few weeks until you can afford them again. That's called budgeting and we all have to do it. It really irks me that they think they shouldn't have to budget at all and they should be given the money by others on Twitter to do these things. It makes it harder for people who are genuinely struggling to ask for help and it's really damaging playing right into the hands of Conservative policymakers who would have us believe that all poor people are grifters. (Sorry for my slightly political moment there.)

I just remembered the carpet thing. Some charity or other donated her a carpet for her son's room a little while back. He had no bedroom carpet whilst she had tattoos and new boots every 5 minutes! What a wonderful mother! And that was a charity that could have been helping someone who really needed it.

i definitely agree with this. she tweeted a few weeks ago that her son was being bullied at school, but from her word choice and what she actually said, it sounded as though she was actually happy about being proved ‘right,’ that school wasn’t for him, in a very ‘i told you so’ type of way.

the bullying has apparently been resolved and the teacher for involved i think, but it’s just another reason why i feel like she’s making his life needlessly difficult or stressful.

FYI: my mother was a single mother, she brought us up alone and with no help whatsoever (financial, childcare, etc). i have nothing against single mums and i don’t usually care about how children are raised, but when she’s actively tweeting about these things, she’s putting it on a public platform and opening herself up to criticism. i don’t believe that she will do what is best for the child and delete her twitter.
