None of the kids misbehaved anyway. Louis was playing up acting like a normal 3 year old and all the others were very well behaved.

kyrgios in the final. i cannot believe it. as said upthread, the first time in my life i will support novak.

Fantastic match with Goffin v Norrie. Some incredible tennis on both sides. Pleased to see Norrie go through. I’m not sure he will get past Djokovic but I suppose we’ll see if he’s got what it takes. I also have never warmed to him. When he first came on the pro scene he seemed a bit more humble. Not so much now!

Entirely unsurprised to hear about the allegations against Kyrgios, wonder if he’ll get removed from the tournament!?

I think overall I’d love to see Rafa win

As much as I do want Rafa () to turn this around, the only ‘positive’ I’m trying to take from his potential loss tonight is that I would rather see him go out against Fritz than have to watch him endure and possibly get knocked out by awful NK. ‘Cos I’m that petty.

I totally agree: I don’t watch NK if I can help it, but he’s got a huge grudge against Rafa and behaves especially badly when he’s up against him. Watching him beat an injured Rafa would be unbearable.

If it comes to a ND/NK final, for the first time in my life I will be rooting for Novak (who I cannot abide under usual circumstances!)

I am overwhelmed. Cried like a baby and was tense as hell during that tiebreak. I don't know how he does it but I'm so glad I am here to witness.

Ajla was asked about NK in her presser. She's pretty mad that the journalist didn't ask about her match and rightly so.

NK is trash. I gave him a pass for a long time - longer than i should - but Tsitsipas is right that he is a bully.

I noticed NK was being uncharacteristically level headed in his match with Nakashima on Monday, barely a peep out of him. Wonder if they knew the headlines were going to break and were already initiating mission public image rescue (not possible at this point). There’s no denying that he has a ‘talent’ for tennis but that’s about the only thing he has going for him that I can see.

Ironically in one of my previous comments I said “I’m not saying he’s a bad person, I don’t know the guy.” All a bit up in the air now eh Nicky?

Agree re: the ban on Russian players and I’m disappointed Wimbledon didn’t look into these loopholes. I’m a fan of Medvedev and was disappointed he couldn’t play but absolutely agree with the reasoning behind it. I can imagine him being pretty pissed off that Rybakina is allowed to compete.

The men’s draw would definitely have been a lot more interesting had Medvedev been in it (and if Berrettini hadn’t had to withdraw).

It’s certainly not been a golden year.
