What are the 'rumours'? sorry i dont have enough time to scroll through multiple pages!!

I think both she and William took advantage of that time on Wales to live as normal a life as possible. I don't think there is any chance she just pops to the supermarket now. Life is very different now they are both full time royals.

I agree they were left alone like any young couple.

They possibly try to see staff as part of the job rather than personal, eg a nanny as the day care/childminder/babysitter that other working parents have. Kate won't cook all the time but she does cook (spoke of roasting a chicken and having Harry over for dinner when he was a bachelor) and cooks pizza etc with the children. Diana definitely had a cook and doesn't seem to have cooked at all. When Harry and Meghan married, William joked that at least Harry wouldn't be raiding their fridge all the time so he wouldn't go to it and find it empty. It's possible that when they don't have engagements they give staff time off in the evening and weekends which would give them the opportunity to try to emulate Kate's upbringing.

[To explain, I grew up abroad with staff because of my father's job and then with the usual family all mucking in during his leaves and after his retirement in the UK so I can see how the balance can work. Unlike others, we always fended for ourselves in the evenings unless we were entertaining and needed the staff then.]

Kate does have her personal hairdresser and stylist who go abroad with her. Her hairdresser saw Prince George before the Middleton's as she went to style Kate s hair before she faced the cameras.

They are definitely going into overdrive on the PR on Kate and William. I also think they have been told to go out and be seen more, with a massive PR drive. Not a bad thing. If we have to have them, they should be doing more than they have been.

I think that how much they're doing or not is subject to royal machine and their order of pecking. I think they have Charles in focus now and no one should cast shadow on him.

Don't know about now but when she lived on Angelsey she would often be seen shopping in Waitrose at Menai Bridge.

I have heard that too but her security guard was always with her as well, that is why she can never completely go back to the middle class lifestyle she was brought up in.

I've a pair of wellies that I bought 40 years ago in my farming village in Aberdeenshire and are still going strong! Having said that, I'd like another pair of solid wellies but I have verrryy chunky calves (to my legs, not ) so don't know where to look.

I'm the same, and bought some great boots (no-name / from a bargain store) that only go part-way up the leg ... about 40cm from the ankle up the leg. They're perfect for my chunky calves.

I don't think the European Royals can risk marrying each other, can they, because they are too closely related and have been marrying each other for generations. The risk is too high, hence why they have all started marrying 'commoners'.

I don't know enough about this. The Swedish and Spanish Royals also? I only know of the BRF's links to the German and Russian Royals

I’ve just read on the celeb gossip thread that Carole and Michael Middleton split up ages ago and are only seen in public together to keep up the appearance of being a happy family.

My feelings about the royal rift between Harry and william is that william when seeing the soft porn videos of Markle in suits, her topless video, her unashamed hustle photos and her burger grilling video in a bikini acting all seductive and coy drove william to say , he didn’t think she would be ‘ royal bride material’

besotted Harry then went off it and a huge row ensued.
i don’t think there’ll be any coming back from that as long as MM is on the scene.

this happened between my two sons. The elder one was correct and it caused quite a rift back then . The relationship didn’t last and we aren’t royal

He's never worn a wedding ring. Not all men do (my husband doesn't). Carole still wears her wedding ring and is wearing it in Harry & Meg's wedding photos.

Not the point I'm making. Carole is wearing a band in the wedding photos. Then in August last year she's back to wearing the full set again
