William and Kate #8

I would say much of that is the tabloid talk of her “focusing her entire life on marrying William and becoming the Princess Of Wales”. I have always found that to be unfair. I would say none of us know much about her - or their relationship.
There is nothing to suggest any need or want to divorce. I know we are on a gossip site - but I can’t find any seeds of any real gossip.
Catherine is the first POW to have a degree and she clearly loves to be outdoors doing sporty things, that doesn't sound like someone just sitting around waiting to wear a gown and tiara to me.
She sounds like she has a very full and fulfilling life.

She and her family quite literally built their entire life around the hopes that Kate would marry William. She barely had a career .Hardly accomplished. The late Queen outworked them even when she was on her death bed !She and William had it easy when it came to their duties. If Charles passes ,there will be no monarchy.

They will never divorce. Kate has focused her entire life since she left school on marrying William and becoming Princess of Wales and then next Queen of the UK. Diana was basically told to marry Charles being from an aristocratic family. Kate wasn't, she was born middle class and has chosen this life and of course regardless their son George would be next King after William too
In what way did Catherine “focus her entire life” on marrying William and becoming Princess of Wales? That’s such a lazy and unfair argument. Why can’t people accept that she met someone at university, fell in love, dated him for years, married him, and had children with him — and that he happens to be a prince who will one day be King?

She moved in circles where she could easily have dated or married a wealthy man without taking on everything that comes with William’s life: the scrutiny, the pressure, the duty, and constant comments like this.

In what way did her family “quite literally build their entire lives” around the hope that Catherine would marry William? Her family were already very well off and had their own successful business. That claim is just ridiculous speculation dressed up as fact.

And the “she barely had a career” argument ignores the context. She met William at university and they started dating very young. After university, she was constantly hounded by the media, so working for her parents in Berkshire made sense because it gave her more privacy and protection. She also knew that if she married William, she would eventually have to give up any normal career anyway, because royal life comes with duties, restrictions, and constant scrutiny.

The late Queen, and now the King, clearly wanted William and Catherine to have time with their young family. If the actual monarchs did not have a problem with that, why are random people online acting more offended than they were?

And the idea that “if Charles passes, there will be no monarchy” is just wishful thinking. William is the heir. The monarchy does not end just because some people online want it to.

Kate literally chose the same course at the same university as William. I think they will be a good King and Queen, glamorous and empathetic and with some charisma but her marrying him was always planned

Catherine has literally said herself: “I started off doing Psychology at St Andrews, with History of Art.” So the claim that she simply chose the exact same course as William as part of some grand plan is not the smoking gun people think it is. William also later switched from art history to geography. And people act as if William had no choice in the matter — as if he was forced to date her, stay with her for years, propose, marry her, and have three children with her. He chose her too.

Wow a lot.of shenanigans would have to have fallen into line and William would have to be a complete empty head with no free will to make this work.

Also having seen a basically arranged marriage between his parents, I think he rightly took his own time, and made his own decisions.

People are so delusional on here and on social media in general .everything is fake, everything is a conspiracy. Despite the Middletons seeming a reasonably nice couple who haven't put much of a foot wrong over the years, Mrs Middleton is constantly accused of social climbing. If they were this bad then Kate would surely have taken the much easier Pippa route!

Pippa wouldn't have married a billionaire if she didn't get the limelight at Kate's wedding. It would have been a standard banker, like the one she was with

I think if William and Kate divorced it would seriously destabilise an already tenuous faith in the monarchy with the public.
The Royal Family are no longer regarded as an institution to be revered. If there are problems with William and Kate's marriage, I would rather they seperated than live in a sham marriage.

Which they obviously would IF there were problems but there aren’t! Have never seen any inkling of unhappiness between them unlike his parents!

Hardly. Her parents were millionaires. I have a friend whose parents were millionaires and she married someone whose parents were even richer. They all mix in the same circles and the one you’re referring to was hardly a standard banker.

All of the Middleton children appear to have made good marriages. That usually happens when children are well raised in a happy household.

Kate's entire adult life has focused on her marrying William and becoming Queen. Of course she will never divorce him, indeed once the King dies she will effectively be the power behind the royal family, she is probably brighter than William

I do feel that these statements about her “focusing her entire adult life on marrying William” are just echos of the daily mails misogyny. They have no basis at all.

Always a shock to visit this thread and see how real people will actually go crazy to defend members of the royal family 😂

Why are you even reading a thread on the royals when you clearly don’t like them? 🙄
