She’s certainly sticking to her new ethos of trying to steer the conversation away from her clothes, every time we’ve seen her this year I’m pretty sure it’s either been dull browns or rewears. I get it but equally she has a huge impact on any brand she wears and the art of royalty is so visual that it feel like a misstep if this becomes a long term strategy

She missed the mark at the service. The dress was a bit wishy washy and her shoes and bag weren’t good with the dress. I liked the hat though.
(From me, sitting here in old pyjamas and my hair all over the place, looking a million dollars 😂)

It's not a flattering photo. I guess she needed someone to stay warm enough as the weather isn't great. I prefer the plum.suit from the weekend.

Going by the Caribbean tour though l'm glad she didn't wear red white and blue 🤣

I am pretty sure the POW has a chronic illness of some kind, some sort of IBD, some type of Vasculitis affecting her liver/kidneys etc. People aren’t really aware of these horrible long term illnesses unless it’s happened to you or someone close. My hairdresser is 100 sure that Kate has been wearing wigs for a while. The really expensive ones most likely made from her own hair. I’m sure she won’t ever be getting better or recovering. Neither will I unfortunately but that’s life.
Let's not forget that her cancer was discovered after abdominal surgery. She must have had something wrong that was bad enough to require surgery. Perhaps something like Crohn's which also increases the risk of colorectal cancer.

Recovery after chemo takes an awfully long time. The body takes such a battering during chemo. You wouldn't be back to normal for a long time afterwards. The exhaustion and emotional impact of it all would last far beyond the chemo sessions and surgery.
Yup, I'm two years past finishing chemo for colonoscopy cancer and I'm still perpetually exhausted. A trip to hospital by public transport means sleeping through to the afternoon the next day.

BIB - I didn’t think this until I saw her up doo at the Abbey last week. It looked odd. Pure speculation of course and if it’s true or not it must be incredibly difficult to go through something so awful and know the world is watching.

Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway might be someone to talk to as someone seriously ill in public. She has pulmonary fibrosis which is progressive and has had to reduce her duties. Her illness is public though. In March the Palace announced that changes and cancellations to her programme may be at shorter notice than before.

Mette-Marit is even lazier than Kate and has been publicly defending her rapist son. She even helped him get a new mattress after he grape somebody. Her health problems are imo entirely made up.

Kate has been wearing extensions and wiglets in her hair since the wedding. Doubt it has anything to do with any health issues; her image is her perfect hair and stick thin self.

The problem nowadays is everyone has fake hair and fake nails etc that they seem to forget some people can actually grow their own nails and some women actually have their own hair!

At Uni she had the same hair 🤷‍♀️

It depends on what her illness is, when it started and/or how severe it is/became.

Also, even if you don't lose your hair with chemo, it can thin considerably.

Very medieval look to her dress for this evening's banquet too.
