Paul danan lived in a small town I lived near to a few years back. I have no idea why he just appeared. He acted like he was some huge celeb but was actually a bit of a laughing stock. By then it was years after Hollyoaks and love Island.
He thought all the girls wanted him and did the do you know who I am? I did but said no, who are you? He didn't like that.
He was a massive muggy and a story that went around the town was someone saw him in a graveyard digging around for some drugs he had lost. I honestly think this would be true. I can't remember them now but it came up on a local page on Facebook a couple of years back and there was some right stories about his ways people had put and the crazy things people saw him do.
In a way it was quite sad. He thought he was some big celeb but in reality had ended up in a tiny town off his face leaching off people in pubs.
He also wore the most hideous jacket/cardigan thing.
From what I remember it resembled one of them old fluffy rugs old people have with like a tiger or something on? Hard to explain
it looked horrific though and in need of a wash.
I think he did come dine with me when there too or shortly after. He just disappeared after a while. Seen him on the odd thing since but he was a strange man, hopefully he has sorted himself out since then.

I think at the time I found his twitter or some kind of social media and it was just so different to how he actually was. All this happy go lucky mad crazy funny guy and on come dine with me I think it was too.
He was just a mess whenever he I saw him, totally drugged up, arguing and thinking he was it. Everyone thought he was a fool, but some parts of me felt sorry for him at how low he had seemed to go and what his real life seemed to be compared to what he made out it was.
As I say, this was a few years back so hopefully he's sorted himself out. I'll have to try catch up on coach trip.

Agyness Deyn. With her made up ass name. BFF to Henry Holland. I was looking at an old ASOS magazine from 2011 and saw her in a Pepe Jeans ad, and remembered how she was on every runway and in every print ad and ABSOLUTELY bleeping EVERYWHERE for about a year or two, then poof! suddenly disappeared.
Oh gosh, yes. Why did she stop being a top model? I never saw what the fuss was about with her.
I loved "Independent Love Song", had it on a compilation tape at the time, reminds me of a family holiday in France driving around playing the tape over and over.
Does anyone remember Jonathan Wilkes, Robbie Williams's "best mate", he had a single out circa 2001 which flopped, I don't think it made top 20, I can't remember how it went now.
Independent Love Song is a class tune. They used it on an episode of Derry Girls and it just triggered a memory, I was very young when it came out but remembered it for some reason.
aww yeah Jonathan Wilkes really did try to make something of himself, wasn’t he in musicals like we will rock you and the rocky horror show? He just died a death though. Was always just Robbie Williams mate unfortunately for him.
