That latest reel "we bicker like sisters" - yes, you dress like sisters and all. So creepy.

They seem to weirdly get off on people mistaking them for sisters. It's beyond weird. I've been in les relationships before and never felt the need to morph into my partner.

I just find them so weird and icky. I’m a les and I would absolutely hate for anyone to think my other half is my sister!! 😂

So they recently mentioned about the possibility of leaving their beloved Windsor and moving… why do we think? Moving somewhere cheaper to have extra money to fund the ivf? 🤔

Guys! Wegan baby is a go! They announced so early considering all the troubles they had. Also - what happened to the move?

They make me cringe so much. So dumb.

What is that latest video with Whitney’s mother?

And why do they dress the same? It’s like they thrive on people mistaking them for sisters.

Why are they so obsessed with stating that their daughter's gender is only "assigned at birth"? Just enjoy the fact that you're having a girl, FFS. Nobody (except weirdos) is. thinking about her future gender identity.

In any case, I'm pretty sure they would have been devastated with a boy to ruin their aesthetic.

Given Wegan’s comments here on gender identity, whilst identifying as ‘femmes’ and embracing a LOT of pink, it will be interesting to see if they opt for any gender neutral / unisex clothing (or toys, activities etc) for their baby girl. We are all (hopefully) aware of the deep-rooted gendered stereotypes in kids’ clothing. If not, see the spoiler below. There was also an interesting study some years ago about how differently one child was treated when first dressed as a ‘little princess’ in pink, then a ‘cool dude’ in blue.

If Wegan want to dress themselves in head-to-toe pink 24/7 then that’s their choice as adults, but for God’s sake give the kid a chance to escape the early pigeonholing - especially if they’re as gender-aware as they claim to be.

Can a little boy wear a blue dinosaur t-shirt saying ‘I am roarsome’? Absolutely. Can a little girl also wear that same t-shirt? Absolutely. But historically it has rarely been marketed that way, although things do seem to be changing.

Apologies for any clumsy phrasing in this post. It is a nuanced subject, and I’m no expert, but I am hoping my point will broadly come across. I am also not wishing to derail the thread by sparking a gender debate here - there’s a whole other thread for that!

They’re appeasing the LGBTQ+ fan base without actually (in my opinion) understanding it or really caring.

I doubt very much that they’re going to put that girl (sorry, CHILD - maybe she isn’t ackshully a girl) in anything but pink hyper-girly stuff.

The fact that they’ve already done the ‘pink for a girl’ thing with the gender reveal cake probably says it all about what’s to come.

I’ve never been to a ‘gender reveal’ party (because my family and friends aren’t ridiculous) but I’m fairly sure there are other ways of revealing whether you’re expecting a girl or a boy without resorting to the pink/blue stereotype.

Also, I hate that it is always called a gender reveal. It’s not - it’s a biological sex reveal.

ETA I don’t think there’s anything wrong with finding out if you’re having a boy or a girl. I just don’t understand why people can’t find out quietly.
