I quite enjoyed having to wear a mask at the hairdressers during covid for this reason!
The hairdresser's mirror is the ultimate feel old scenario. You have no choice but to look at yourself for hours - especially if highlights are being done. Usually your stylist is about 12 with peachy skin, a wondrous head of abundant hair and an easy breezy manner.

Someone told me the sign of being youthful is ability to jump. My friend who is just couple of years older than me said she cannot jump on her own. I felt so sad because she doesn't look (visually) unhealthy.

A new starter in our office remembers 2018 as the first World Cup he properly followed, he's 19. I'm sat here remembering Zidane's headbutt in the 2006 final, and even parts of 2002 when I would have been 8, and it's the realisation that this is the 9th World Cup since I was born.

Spain 1982 was the 1st world cup I can really remember watching.
