I also hate it when the bride wants her bridesmaids to organise the whole thing and have no involvement. I find that lazy tbh and you’re expected to organise something ‘really fun’ with a bunch of strangers. So annoying

Currently trying to organise my best friends hen and it is turning into an absolute nightmare! People absolutely suck!! Would love to hear your tales of the worst things that have happened on hens that you have been to/ organised... (Or stags! But they *seem* to be easier!)

One of my best friends had the cringiest 'welcome to the world' party instead of a Christening complete with her husband relaying the birth story in full and describing them as mummy and daddy throughout

I’ve read a couple of pages and had to stop as making me so angry. I’m finding the posts from people saying “my hen was great, my guests kindly covered my costs for a lovely weekend away” infuriating. So oblivious to how their guests most likely felt

Agree with you on those posts. It was a cringe fest reading them. Its almost as if they are trying to convince themselves and others that their hen group had no problem with their plan and costs when in fact the plain truth is most shudder when they get an invite that details anything other than something simplistic like a old knees up down the local pub.

Absolutely. I don’t see how people can be so comfortable with putting such financial obligations on their friends, and dominating their whole weekend and annual leave allowances. It’s so selfish. Maybe a couple people are genuinely happy to go for the craic but most people are internally reeling and don’t want to be there. Ideal hen do is a nice boozy dinner at the local curry house, Chinese or Greek restaurant. Maybe onward to a bar if people are feeling up for it. Job done
I have a thing about finger nails, especially when they're cut back far too much or when they get snagged on something and get torn away from the rest of the finger nail leaving bare flesh where the nail was.
When people re-share Facebook memories. No one was that bothered when you shared that pic 5 years ago, or the year after that or the year after that.

Social media 'friend' culture. Why are so many of us SM friends with people that we clearly do not give a duck about? Just to moan about how boring their posts are? Like, what do we expect - we literally do not care about them. Of course they will be boring.
If you're not interested in big stages of someone's life - like their wedding, their new house, or their baby, why have them as a SM friend at all? It's so weird how IRL you're not pushed to go out of your way to talk to people you don't care for, but on social media, people you haven't spoken to for years add you as a friend, meaning despite the fact you will never message each other or speak, you'll start seeing what this person is up to every day (vice versa). Then we feel bad for deleting this person that we wouldn't even smile at when passing them in the street, and who wouldn't greet us either, who we only think about to whinge about so weird

so weirdI have a friend who does this too, not only shares but comments again and tags people and ends up having a mini conversation under the pictures, she is in her mid 30s, this is the kind of thing that is only appropriate for adoloescents who don't know better IMO
- People who say "little man" when they talk about their sons, or who call their kids "mate". I know it's meant in affection but I just can't stand it for some reason, especially the former when everyone started doing it.
- Use of the terms "doggo", "good boy", "pupper", "preggo", "kiddo", etc. UGH.
- The way everyone seems to copy each other all the time with home interiors. I'm sick of the constant barrage of interior design that all looks the same. Get your own personality!
- Celebs/zelebs who bang on about their weight and pretty much nothing else.
- Everything on the planet having a special day, to the point where stuff like national donut day is probably a thing now.

I commented on the 'little man' phrase earlier and still totally agree.
Influencers with large followings asking questions about "where to eat" or "what to buy for Christmas" on Instagram, then making posts or vlogs labelled "city guide and where to eat" or "gift guide 2020" using the information that their followers provided"! I saw 2 prolific youtubers doing it and it clarified that in reality that kind of content is dead in the water now.
Years ago I went to a couple of restaurants/cafes that had had amazing reviews from influencers, both were awful, slow service, cold food etc. This was when I was much more naive to the fact that they were obviously paid/compd, that was the last time I ever paid for something promoted by an influencers
Stepping in a wet spot on the floor when i’m wearing socks. Can’t explain why but the feeling makes me feel sick!
My friend taking pictures of herself in a bikini and putting it on IG every week - she’s training for a bikini fit / bodybuilding competition and she does updates every week. I just find it so cringe! Good for her for doing this but I don’t need to see her a on my feed!
