I completely agree. Also from a security point of view, that’s a lot of personal information you’re just sharing there! They also usually tag themselves at the hospital too... aren’t the top security questions a)dob b) middle names c) town you were born in? People are just too keen for the validation; they can’t help themselves but post!!!I don’t know is this normal but people who announced the birth of their baby, with the exact time stamp.

Hmm idk not something i will do
Totally. People usually use their Dob or their kids’ Dob as part of their password combinations.I completely agree. Fully agree with this and I’ve been to about 589 baby showersGoing to upset people but...Baby showers. No exceptions. Get your own tit for your own baby. Such an obnoxious concept from across the pond. I have been to a LOT of baby showers and only 2 were remotely enjoyable. Generally they awkward day time non boozy affairs. Invariably the mum to be wears white or some floral arrangement in their hair like some pure maiden. And I could never go to meet a new baby without taking a gift so I’ve therefore had to get 2 gifts.
Then when people have the nerve to have another shower for their 2nd baby. That’s seen as poor etiquette even in the states. Room 101 for this nonsense. The flower walls and the props my god why do people do it, it’s so cringe
Where has the baby shower phenomenon come from? I feel like it definitely wasn't a thing, or at least not as prevalent, about 10 years ago.Going to upset people but...Baby showers. No exceptions. Women seeking external validation. This might annoy people. People who state their childrens names and dates of births in their instagram bio, sometimes alongside the date they got engaged or married. Its always women, I've never (I think it definitely is never) seen a guy do this.

Going on trips as well and calling them "babymoons" - like hotels sell babymoon packages now. Seems like a good idea going away for a last trip before your baby is born to relax and spend time together but why the labelling? I blame capitalism.
also apparently having someone's full DOB / location of birth is something that can be used for identity theft and taking out loans etc in someone's name. I cannot remember who told me this but it made me take my full bday off facebook immediately!Totally. People usually use their Dob or their kids’ Dob as part of their password combinations.
