Im laid in the garden in my pants. With a fan. Sweating in places I didn't know could sweat. Contemplating jumping in the kids pool but then she will think I want to play sharks
It lasted all of 5 minutes. We do have a weather warning in place for storms
I got sunburnt today. Up north. First time for everything!

Some of the people I went to school with have aged like milk and I am here for it 
Managed to be productive even though my 8 month old was nap dodging and sleeping at really odd times today. Nothing life altering, just a load of those little jobs and some batch food prep for the wee lad’s weaning journey and a lentil salad for mine and my husbands lunch using up some odds and sods.
Last night's storm was incredible!! It went on for hours, tons of beautiful lightening forks and a tit ton of rain! This morning was absolutely beautiful, it was nice but cool! Unfortunately, it didn't last and the afternoon has been so hot and sunny. We put our positivity pants on and enjoyed tea outside anyway 
Finding motivation to do a little job that really wasn’t as bad as I’d mentally built it up to be, and it literally took me 10 minutes!
My neice turned 4 today and we had a little party for her this afternoon. She was so chuffed with her walking, barking toy dog me and Mr Electric bought her (her mummy and daddy probably weren't so happy!) It was an absolute joy to see her so happy and enjoying herself
I don't live locally so don't get to see her or my nephew as often as I would like so days like this are precious

I do the same with my little nephew, seeing his smiling face is priceless I've got Paul McCartney's new album to listen to and treated myself to the latest Landscape magazine. I miss the mags. The good ones are very expensive now but as a once in a while indulgence I will buy.
Watching dog diving national championships on youtube their tails going round like little propellers whilst in the air has made my day 
I met up with a friend for a walk tonight and she brought her daughter's puppy with her. She was the happiest little ball of fluff I've ever met and curled up on my knee in the car on the way home like she'd known me forever!
Bought some gorgeous pink poppies and they are in full bloom.
It was yesterday but;
Both peonies bloomed, and the one I dug out of my parents garden has an actual bud after being in my garden 4 years!
I found my lost earring which made me SO happy!

Heavy rain just as I went for a nap, so soothing. Also my husband's giant cat playing little spoon while I was resting, it's like having a living teddy bear to cuddle.
All the flowering trees and bushes around at the moment. I'm sure they are there every year and I've not noticed. I'm consciously appreciating them this year .
