Not really a rant but I just feel so alone in the world now that all my parents are dead. It's just really hitting me hard tonight
I actually was going you go to the press but my sister told me no as he fears( my nephew ) he will get into trouble. I might just do it anonymously. It makes me fucking angry .There were schoolkids told off at school last year which made the press, and it is happening. Also this is a rant thread so I can vent some steam here. Policing my anger on a rant thread seems odd.
I am the opposite, I hate places that don’t take cash.Cash only places. I get it,I fully understand why businesses do it,but...I am in Norfolk in a small village. It has 1 cash point that's free to use about 15/20 minutes walk,so half hour ISH there and back.Everything around me is pretty much cash only. Yes,ok I could draw more out,but the more you draw the more you spend. Then they huff and puff at the counter when you hand then a £20 note for a pound purchase. What do you want me to do exactly ? They surely must lose out in the long run by not accepting card payments
Yes, normally I would agree,but when I am in a location that doesn't have free ATMs for miles or only inside shops that charge you,I change my opinion lol. My point is too,they surely must lose so much money as people just don't botherI am the opposite, I hate places that don’t take cash.

My local Chinese tried this numerous times, all over the doors and windows signs saying ' cash only " as they blamed it on ' fees ' the main dish alone is £8+ that's without rice and other sides . And expecting people to use a card for a newspaper during covid was crazy.See im the opposite , I see it as tax dodging .
