I'm 56 and recently found part-time work, after years of unemployment (lack of self esteem ect). I know how difficult it is to summon up the courage, but it can be done.Financial admin...I’ll be honest though I’ve not actually worked for quite a long time due to severe mental health issues and things that have been going on in my life. I feel such a deep sense of shame and unworthiness, it really effects my self esteem and I feel so...pointless. I hate when anyone asks me what I do, the dentist asked me the other day and I burst into tearsI want to return to work but have had a lot of really hard knocks and think it’s going to be really difficult to get my confidence back.

Would love to train to be a paramedic once they are old enough to get themselves home safely from school!
Well done! I know that must have taken a lot, it’s so hard to get back into work when you’ve been out for so long. I really hope it’s going well for you and that you’re enjoying it.
