Swansea's swim is in the docks, and it's quite far back from the open sea so it should be relatively calm unless it's a really windy day. I don't think she would be brave stupid enough to do a sea swim.

To be fair, she is pretty dumb
It is a calm swim, however, what is not calm are a load of tri athletes kicking and slapping their way past you. Even experienced swimmers can get into a world of bother if they are not used to it.
Btw is it a half Ironman she is attempting or a full?

Ah sad. Although there is a minor chance she evens starts it and we'll have the pleasure of witnessing the ridicule. If it were for a full there would be absolutely none.
