Waitrose food & drink

I really liked the sweet potato falafels, they're going in my Wimbledon picnic.
The strawberry centre things are in the fridge.
A friend tried the Alphonso Mango dessert (£7.50) and absolutely raved about it.
I didn’t like the falafels, I find them really dry. I love sweetcorn fritters and couldn’t even finish one of theirs. Luckily I live across the road from “the home of the picky bits” 🤣

I do keep looking at those strawberry things, I might add them to tomorrows shop.

Their No.1 ice cream never misses, every single flavour is amazing.

I only got two new ones, my stupid husband buys those rolls all the time I hate them and I won’t buy the dip. The first time I’ve had nothing useful.

I don’t think there’s a single Waitrose picky bit that I like. They’re always disappointing.
The picky bits are a mixed bag. The mini pork pies are nice and the olives but otherwise I go to Marks or Aldi

Mostly the same. I do rate their nocellara olives though, the ones in the deli counter.

My vouchers are pretty good. I’ve got money off the lemon mascarpone ice cream and mango alphonso dessert. Usual weekly vouchers always seem to be chicken breast, mince, chicken Kyiv, eggs, milk or fruit.

It IS amazing! So good! ...
That's a given, the only reason I didn't buy it today is because I already ate a cake for 4 on my own this week. Normally not a probelm because I work for Royal Mail but they have cut me off this week and next (agency) so I'm not burning the calories:cry:

I think it's £6 now but you've all sold me on it. I'm doing parkrun Saturday and I've done a lot of gardening today so I've earned it.

What terrible nonsense is this? Mine are often the same dog treats, cheese and chicken and bacon wrap on repeat. This has thrown because they're almost as bad as Marks' used to be.
Ice cube bags - anticipating the heatwave? 😄

For the second week in a row I've only got 2 vouchers for my usuals, one of which is sold out online so I can't even use it.

@Notworthy Don't worry too much - I ate nearly all of a No. 1 Chocolate Indulgent Cake the other week...

Has their shopping analysis gone on the blink? I don't buy bars like this.

That's so weird! Have you checked you're logged in with the right email and member card number? If you contact their customer service they might be able to sort it or give you a 'money off' one instead etc.

ETA: the vouchers are usually for your frequent items (which expire after 1 week) and new things they try and get you to start buying (which expire after 2 weeks). It looks like the bars might be the latter?

I'm the only one who uses the account and they do seem to be something to try but it still feels odd, especially given their previous offers.
