Those retro Bloody Mary crisps are fine. Quite nice, but I doubt I'll buy them with actual money.

I checked my app to find the new section and just noticed I have a favourites list and it’s full of all the stuff I buy in store and I’m horrified by it - I clearly have a snacking issue!!Sometimes when I haven't a book on the go, for my bedtime reading I browse the "new" section on the Waitrose app and favourite all the things I want.
I had the mushroom one the other day, as my OH says "delicious, especially at that price". I bought quite a few bits and now see I'm 27p from next rewardWe just had the free sourdough pizza. Went for pepperoni and it was the most delicious pizza we’ve had for ages, made even better by not having to pay for it
There's lots of upset on the Aldi & Lidl thread; as I understand it, changes to the Lidl app mean you now have to spend £60 before you get a reward of a single bakery item, was £10 spend. Seems stupid of them, old way many could have a freebie each time they visited, perhaps enough to chose Lidl over other alternatives if proximity not an issue.

Just picked up the new "Rivals" scotch egg sandwich (they didn't have the prawn one). Looks like they literally took the rejected and imperfect scotch eggs and smashed them up into the bread!

They were out of the crisps today in SW London (both fun flavours).
Not a fan of either flavour crisps . . Im a big crisp fan but neither of these do it for me.
Love the little treats though. . Was excited for the big one this month, the rivals bag,until I showed it to a customer yesterday ~ its not worth the £6 ( or £200 you have to spend to get it) I'd have rather had 1 of the regular £5 jute bags tbh

Absolutely agree with you @Tea and Toast - I had a look at that bag in store and was surprised by how cheap and flimsy and small it was. No one in their right mind would pay £6 for it - I've got a free one as a treat and I'm not claiming it.
The Little Waitrose branch at Notting Hill has very little of the Rivals stock and no bags but absolutely none of the prawn cocktail crisps. Only the steak Diane ones were available so that's the preference in this bit of the world, I would guess.
Definitely, I would often pop out to Lidl (it's very close) to specifically get my free ultimate brownie, then spend at least £20 I hadn't intended to on a shop I didn't need. Now I shan't be doing that.
I wasn't looking out for the range but I noticed the Rivals red bags NHG on Thursday but OH said he saw lots of the bits in Bayswater yesterday

I work at waitrose ~ they are rit quality and really wouldn't hold much. . IF you're hell bent on having 1, I'd wait until people are selling them for a couple of quid on vinted . . They are only £6 to buy full price as aposed to spending £200+ to "earn" it as a little treat

I think most people aren’t spending £200 just to earn the bag, but at least already spending that amount on their food shop each month, the bag or whatever treat they offer is just a bonus.
We got the red bag and it was exceedingly tacky so it went into the food drive box as they apparently always need bags.
I can recommend Waitrose bakery fruit & nut bloomer. Toasted & topped with ricotta, sliced banana and honey is a top tier afternoon snack. The UK doesn’t really do fruited breads unlike Germany but they are so nice!

I'm not after the bag myself, just always surprised by how little of the newer items are in that branch. There are two bigger branches not too far from it, admittedly, but it feels like a bit of an afterthought.
I really liked the scotch egg sandwich! I hope it stays, is the other one not just a prawn cocktail? How could it be any different to the prawn cocktail they already do.

The prawn cocktail one is "thousand island" so a bit saucier and richer than the usual one.
If anyone is close to handy cross (not sure if it’s happening with others) they’ve gone crazy with the yellow stickers, lots of jars, sauces, seasonings etc with really long dates. Brand name and own brand.

I've one bit of Le Creuset and it belonged to one of my great-grandma's so obviously super sentimental to me. Aside from the financial aspect of buying more, it's too bloody heavy for me!
Every time I've had the money to get a new piece, my sister makes me pick it up and if I can carry it to the till, it's an acceptable purchase. Alas, my immensely weak wrists hamper me every time so I look lovingly and walk away. However, I will get one of the mugs from my local branch this year. Sigh.
