I like it, definitely makes a change from the normal interiors you see all over Insta.
I don't like the stripes though, they're just not working!
I always imagine there is a homely atmosphere when you visit, she seems to love filling it with people. I'll be honest, I kinda wish she was my friend 🤣

The doc on YouTube has the dad and the real story , when spencer says about that last photo of mike he can see his brother dying it’s because he has faulty o2 tank.they orgsnizers where a tit show and there are other people involved speaking . I’m not sure why Disney left all that out or why the other folk wouldn’t participate but it fills in a lot of blanks

Spencers Dad was originally supposed to go on the expedition with Michael in 1999, I can't remember why he didn't in the end.

I've a new found love for him. I always "got" him on the pod etc but I really admire him. I've never seen him on TOWIE or the likes so that doesn't taint my judgement. I like him for who I see him to be right now. An adoring husband, dad, son and brother. Good for him. I'd love to have someone like him in my life.

Totally agree in regards to the Sherpa. They are naturally great at climbing at altitude. However they are paid shockingly in comparison to the clients paying big bucks to climb. None would make it without a Sherpa. If you are interested I a highly recommend watching the movie, Sherpa. It is brilliant.

Yes and Spencer said on LateLate he never saw footage of Michael on video but the older doc on YouTube has video footage 👀

I don’t think family members can join the same expedition team ie both would be lost to Everest.

I think I read his dad had some sort of injury which meant he couldn't go, but it does make sense if they also don't let them both go together.

I think they didn't cover very much about the oxygen tanks and the guides' behaviour partly because the guides have already been sued and weren't found to be negligent, but also because that's not what the documentary was about so I think he has tried to stay away from it. He alluded to this in a newspaper interview the other day.

Yes, I noticed Spencer saying that in Finding Michael too and thought that if I've seen video footage of Michael (on the YouTube documentary) then he sure as hell has. It kind of annoyed me as I just want the straight truth. Regardless, I'm hugely fond of Spencer.

About the family members rule, didn't the youngest ever person to summit everest, a 12 year old boy(!!!!) do it with his parents?

That you tube documentary was made what 3 years after Michael died ? So Spencer would of been 13 at the time ? Maybe he just simply wasn't shown the footage at the time.
Look I'm pretty sure he has seen it since and would of seen the footage. It was a bit of an odd comment. Maybe he ment like extended footage or such volume of stuff.
I like him, I take what he says at face value so I like to believe there's a reasonable explanation behind it 😅

Oh. I thought that documentary was made more recently than 3 years after Michael died. At Spencer's young age then, he may well have decided not to watch it at that time. You'd think he'd have watched it as an adult, even if just recently due to making his own documentary, but perhaps not.

It was due to the picture they got. It could have been a very clear day and it melted away. I'd say it's grim enough up there with all the dead bodies.

I actually had this conversation with a friend of mine.
He was saying that with global warming the snow and ice is melting up there and isn't as dense as it was so there's every possibility it could of been.
