I haven’t did a whole lot. Im also not a “pro” player. To be honest, I’ve never got past year one.
I‘m in Autumn of year 1 and I’ve upgraded two tools, got two chickens and build the silo. And got the first house upgrade. Saving for another coop.

I am on fall 1 and I feel like I've not done anything. Most of the tasks the villagers want me to do are impossible

Honestly it's nothing really like the pokomon games, it's more like ACNH, there's no having to go look for pokomon an then try an capture them, you just build their habitats an they show up then you talk to them an that's it, they are in your town then, even if you destroy their home they stay, they do strop about lol as mine are doing while I decorate but it's actually pretty relaxing
I've been playing Pokopia each evening since launch, I have to force myself to stop playing and go to bed. They really did put some special sauce in this game. Obsessed.
I just wish you could change barren soil into grass, am ripping down my mountains to get some while I've 400 stacks of soil sitting taking up room in my chests

an it was purely by accident as well, I was trying make duckweed an ended up making leafage on the floor instead an when I cut it I realised it turned my soil into grass, jeeeezus Glad I ripped down a mountain before I worked that one out 🫣

it is a little tedious though, growing leafage an then cutting it, if you have unlocked rocky ridges an made food then you can power up your moves to cover more area but again it's only like 4 blocks rather than the 1
