Her ego is going to be soooo massive by the time she's done her PhD. She seems to win something every month...hasn't she been sharing how she's been getting quite bad grades? like her professor has repeatedly asked to see her because her essays have been getting like 5/10... and yet she is getting academic prizes?!

This thread is interesting because I share some similar sentiments.
I understand she was an Immigrant life myself and her dad died like myself and she's achieved so much. Sometimes I wonder if I didn't work hard enough. Then I remember witch you had cancer lol

She definitely had some 'drive' in her early study /essay crisis videos, and seemed really relatable but she's come into a lot of money and attention and trips abroad and now sees celebs as friends in the space of about 4 years and I do see it has gone to her head. 'Girls Education' is just a buzzword to her these days. Her true delight is when she gets to meet celebs and brag about it.
Just saw her Honorary award thing and someone is updating her Wiki at the same time. Probably her lol

Yeah, her response and calling herself Dr is giving me second-hand embarrassment; I bet they gave it to her for PR to get their admission numbers up.
I mean, Bradford has its strengths but I’m struggling to understand what Vee’s link to them is? Normally an honorary degree is given to someone with a link to the area or a strong link to the institution’s particular speciality. I doubt Vee’s ever set foot in Bradford before today and I can think of other young women with more links to Bradford’s particular specialties - link Malala Yousafzai, for example.
