Mitch McConnell is a disgrace. He should have retired years ago. The arrogance of these American politicians who will not give up their power of the scale. Is it any wonder America is in the state it's in.
That's true. I heard that he's a big part of way things are they way they are with Trump.

I agree.

I just want to know where is he, because recently has been voting against things the Triump wants to do.And now he hasn't returned from the hospital to vote. Al Green was sick in the hospital once and left his hospital bed to go vote. I 'm guessing people in the public feel they have a right to know how is Mitch health wise since he's an elected official. I don't think that the pubic should know all of the details but in general and maybe it's time for him to leave office now instead of in Jan 2027 when his term ends,

McConnell votes no on Tulsi Gabbard, cites ‘alarming lapses in judgment’

that's what I heard. I couldn't remember what was exactly said about him. Thank you for posting that.
He completely shirked his responsibility as Senate Majority Leader. He's top of the list of people responsible for allowing Trump to get a second term.

McConnell refused to convict Trump in the Senate trial on House impeachment charges of inciting the insurrection at the Capitol, which could have left him ineligible to serve again as president, he warned that Trump was not immune from civil or criminal prosecution once he left the White House.

"He didn't get away with anything yet — yet," McConnell said in the Senate at the time.

"We have a criminal justice system in this country. We have civil litigation, and former presidents are not immune from being accountable by either one," he said.

Hes either dead or hes in some sort of vegetative state that he can't leave the hospital.

He should have retires years ago!! I wish Biden had made it so that anyone in the government i.e political roles should be age limited.

There are literally no depths to which some people will sink.
But they’re fine with having a child abusing rapist in the White House.

Donald's business model, send wee Rubio in his Cuban heels on a tour of the Gulf States asking them for money to appease Iran, all the while launch another strike on Iran yesterday.
Winning bigly

Get your patriot passport 😬
Here's how to get it - Any U.S. citizen can get the limited-edition commemorative passport featuring President Trump's photo by applying in person at the Washington Passport Agency in Washington, D.C. The special passports will be issued there by default while supplies last, for a limited run of 25,000 to 30,000 copies. Here's how to avoid it - How to Avoid It: If you do not want a passport with President Trump's face, you can simply apply online or at any other standard passport acceptance facility or regional agency to receive the traditional design.

Yet more stuff that Trump said he would pay for, that he hasn't.

I didn't know (or had forgotten) that there was so much work needed for that 'previous presidents' gallery along the walkway with the stupid extra commentary plaques and the unbelievably hilarious autopen picture, and the bill for the replacement paving slabs (african granite, carved in italy, how very 'america first') came in...
As workers tore up the flagstone in March, a reporter asked Trump who was paying for the enhancements. “Paid for by me,” he replied.
But that wasn’t true. Budget documents from the National Park Service that I obtained show that the walkway replacement cost taxpayers $689,232 ...
... in a separate “Rush project at request of POTUS,” the Park Service spent $347,503 to remove and replace the stucco on the colonnade wall, a project that cleared the way for Trump to affix gold frames and plaques mocking some of his predecessors.
And there's a load of stuff here
about the tremendous America Fair that opened on the National Mall (uniformed bands playing music, uninformed Trump doing the random words thing) that didn't seem to have quite hit the ground running, not even for those who had wanted to be optimistic about it.
Bit long.. second half covers more general stuff e.g. US burned through most of its long range and cruise missile capabilities thanks to the war in Iran, farmers needing serious financial help thanks to the tariffs, and Mike Johnson promising that nobody will be getting investigated for anything just so long as the Democrats can be kept out, which doesn't sound corrupt at all really...
