I just saw that Gov Gregg Abbott issued a statewide disaster declaration about the screwworm back in Jan 29, 2026.
and I saw this too.
three counties have declared an emergency and three more are about to do the same because they feel they are not getting the support they need
I heard that Israel has tried to get other US presidents to do what they got Trump to do but the other US presidents wouldn't do it.
I dare say I won't be the first person to speculate that it just needed the special magic incantation "we have a complete unredacted copy of it all" but I suspect more to do with the fact that after years of cynical remarks about politicians being 'me me me' and not caring about anything else, we finally see one at the top where it's true and with none of the usual caveats or mitigations, as there is not even the slightest sliver of ethics or morality or conscience in that festering lump of inhumanity.
Okay my theory that Trump was talked into the war by Israel could be wrong but Trump may have done the war more so that his family and him could financially benefit for it more than anything. You're right about Trump not having the slightest sliver of therics or morality or conscience.

I don't think you're wrong, only there being multiple factors - it doesn't need to be an either-or thing, Trump is both simple and complicated at the same time and there's no reason to just presume that he isn't guilty of *everything* as charged.

Hollywood taught me that America was supposed to be the land of the free. It looks like it was also colonized by having a majority of both the House and Senate taking AIPAC money.
