Karen Bass is running for Mayor of Los Angeles not Governor of California. Since your friend is MAGA, I'm sure they want Chris Pratt to become Mayor of Los Angeles. The leading republican candidate for Governor of California is saying that CA state has lost it way. I'm not sure what the other candidates are saying. But I'm glad the Kamala Harris didn't run for Governor of California.
