I am ethnically Sephardi Jew, Portuguese but of course all originally descending from the Levant (Israel) as my blood shows all these years later. During the war my relatives adopted Catholicism for self preservation I guess. It makes me pretty sad that due to fear of death and persecution I’ve missed out on so much of my culture. Despite being completely secular and not even truly understanding my Jewish roots I know that I am Jewish enough for antisemites to still hate me.
Much of the hate you receive is from supposedly 'be kind' individuals, whom don't practice what they scream and shout at others.
They like to wave around their 'no to racism' and 'far right racism/facism' placards at protests, yet many of these idiots are just as bad in their own attitudes. They are simply too utterly stupid and blinded by ideology to see this.
They'll claim that that they are attacking the country (Israel). However, the far left hatred of Israel and Jewish people is many decades old. It certainly isn't a recent phenomenon in the last year, or so!
It is about time people started calling this out for what it is:

This is exactly how I feel. I hate that Israel is bombing the duck out of people and countries. Why wasn’t it stopped when it started getting out of hand to the innocent Palestinians. I can’t believe they haven’t commited war crimes but are getting away with it. What’s the point of the UN? It’s barbaric in my opinion. What happened to them was also barbaric but I feel it’s just too much retaliation. But I also feel so sad for the people of Iran who cried out for help when they originally protested and the regime was slaughtering them. I feel so sad about the whole frightening situation. I genuinely don’t know how anyone cannot be neutral. It’s so utterly heartbreaking.

I’m not necessarily a supporter of him personally. What I support is what his name represents for many people right now. So far, he hasn’t really shown me what he’s capable of politically. But his father, the Shah, was widely seen as intelligent and patriotic, and some people naturally associate his son with those qualities. If he can use his position and international influence to help the Iranian people move toward freedom, then I support that

from what people have said, even the forces on the streets are starting to be scared of the people, the people are not as afraid any more and their numbers are more than the regime puppets atm.

The thing that makes me question Pahlavi is from what I have read he hasn’t spoken about the loss of innocent life during the US & Israel war. I haven’t seen him mention about the school children killed for example. But I have seen him give condolences for America soldiers killed.
I’ve read this online, not sure if it is true but Pahlavi has put Shirin Ebadi as head of his Transitional Justice Committee. I’ve read that even though she was one of the few female judges in Iran, she supported the protests that helped topple the monarchy after which the new regime demoted her. She subsequently fled to the UK.
yes from my knowledge he hasn’t said anything either and that’s definitely worth questioning, though it’s also possible he’s holding back because he currently relies on the support of America and Israel, and saying anything might be seen as too anti-war. Either way, anyone representing the Iranian people should show compassion for all it’s victims. this where my judgement comes in on him with his lack of actual actual working political knowledge.
As for Shirin Ebadi, a lot of people supported the protests before the revolution thinking it would lead to democracy, not the system that came after- so we just have to wait and see.. can’t imagine anyone being worse than who is in charge now
This war is a disaster so far. More Iranians have died - either in the hands of the regime or under the bombs of the Americans and Israelis, and Lebaneses are also dying - hunndreds of them. Destruction of infrastructure in Iran, Lebanon, the Gulf countries and Israel. Pollution is exacerbated in Iran with the bombing of oil reserves. The Hormuz strait is closed and now the regime will use it whenever it feels threatened, opening the door to a possible endless blackmailing. Comodities prices are increasing and the whole world will suffer but mostly poor countries. The Gulf countries will see their economies taking a blow and many workers from the global south will be fired, meaning that their relatives depending from their income will suffer too.

The Washington Post also reported that while Israel is promoting an Iranian uprise, Israeli officials privately admitted that they know that civilians will be slaughtered if they attempt to do so. We can see it live - any Iranian taking the street is being killed by the regime.

The ‘other’ thread is literally just posts from twitter. Genuinely unsure why they have a thread on tattle as they could make all their comments on twitter/X surely? I don’t have twitter/X so all the posts mean nothing to me as I can’t open them and see the comments or get clarification. I just don’t understand it.
Regarding the Tattler who created the other thread. I have only (before I blocked them) noticed them on threads where they can rattle off anti jewi tropes and conspiracies, etc.
