That's what she wants though. Living her best life in a restricted bubble so she can carry on with her toxic positivity and hollow encouragements. She's become a Pinterest inspiration board of tacky motivational slogans. I used to think she had a great personality, now I avoid her at all costs so I won't have to see another bull caption with a flower emoji. Get real girl.

Tried to edit my previous post but couldn't due to time limit, sorry for double posting.

Watching the video to have some context and Jade describing her style being party "preppy bad witch school girl" is cringe attack. She's trying to be relatable by pretending to be shocked by owning SIX turtlenecks! That she loves! So excessive!! She also claims that having to own clothes for all weathers is restricting. How? Why wouldn't you own clothes that suit your living climate? Fair enough, kudos to her for wanting to declutter and only own what she feels comfortable and "herself" in but her process seems kind of externally forced. She's very stuck on the image of owning less and the number of everything.

She thinks it's restricting because it's buying for the British climate and being in Britain isn't cool in her eyes. Bet other countries she goes to have similar climates and she won't complain there.

Honestly I don’t think she’s ever gotten over the rejection from Oxford and she’s trying to make everything seem amazing when she’s still hurt

It’s sad if she’s still so fixated on this years later, in the scheme of things the uni you go to doesn’t necessarily make that much of a difference imo , I know both people who went to amazing unis with “worse” jobs than those who went to very mediocre ones and vice versa

Thing is if she had gone to Bristol or another uni, I think she would have gotten over it, purely because she was likely to have met other oxford rejects, and become fully immersed into uk uni life but nooo she’s soo different and Minerva is the only place that’s sooo exclusive

Has it made anyone else angry that she is studying in a cafe? Occupying a seat for hours in a reduced space and blocking other people from spending money there ? I hope she’s not just buying one coffee 🙄

I think this is one of the many flaws in the Minerva model. Students have no dedicated study spaces so have to use public areas. At best it's not great but during COVID it's downright antisocial. But what does she care in her tiny entitled bubble?

even more so in a video which got taken down she said to bring an empty reusable cup so you don’t have to buy anything while there. Maybe that’d be fine in a chain but really damaging for small businesses 🙄

Yeh they should really hire some co working spaces for them imo

Exactly! Starbucks isn't going to go under if the odd person is going in to use their wifi (even though it's still not really ok!) but my local coffee shop? You're just being selfish to go in there, not buy anything, and take up a table from the paying customers. Especially in a pandemic. Ugh Jade is just so entitled I can't help but be irritated by her.

I don't get why she even needed to be in a cafe, she's finished her internship and she's still at home - so she's got a perfectly good study space at home. Why go out unnecessarily in a pandemic?

Yeh it’s not like she’s in a small cramped house with no space 🙄

I want to boke every time I hear the phrase casual magic.

I'm all for seeing the beauty in life, really I am. I love finding things to be grateful for, I love reflecting on small moments that make you happy, but dear God-- to make it your entire personality with a two-foot quirky girl quip like "casual magic" just irritates the life out of me. It's like she's trying to claim the idea of being grateful for the small moments in life as her own idea.

she just tries to make it seem like her life is something completely out of this world. It’s like she’s trying to prove that her life is so worth living to all of us..... it’s just so so strange

Her expression reminds me of people in cults if that makes sense? Always amazed at everything to an insane degree ? I don’t know if anyone follows them but I find the same with Venetia and max la manna, it’s weirdly disconcerting

I'm starting to pity her at this point. Is there anything she does that's relatable and valuable. She should end her YT and start living a normal life.

MLMs function like a cult. With her Dad at the top of one, the attitude isn't surprising. At some point she is going to get hit by reality.
