Hi all,

For those that have just got their bfps or have other children did any of you have skin breakouts before you found out?

My skin was awful for a year after coming off the pill. The last 2 or 3 months it has got better which has made me feel so much better in myself.

I'm in the TWW 8dpo and the last few days my skin is breaking out. Its not major. I've got quite a few actual spots and then lots of those little 'bumps' that are apparently hormonal spots or something. I'm sure it means nothing and most likely just means my skin is going bad again (I am praying this doesn't happen, it killed my self esteem).

Thanks x x

I’ve just tested positive but I had literally no symptoms! My boobs felt fine and I’ve had no sickness or skin issues so it really is different for everyone! The only unusual thing was that I’ve been SUPER bloated the past week or so! Good luck ❤

Hey! I always get hormonal spots before I get a positive test. I have them right now all around my chin and mouth so hoping that’s positive and not just from wearing a fekin mask 😂

Congratulations amazing news. Can I ask how long you've been trying?

Ah it's horrible but if it means a bfp then amazing. I am trying so hard right now not to hope too much 😂

Had our fertility appointment today! Some positives, she called my husbands sperm ‘super sperm’ 🤣 doesn’t know if I have PCOS or PCO, which I didn’t even know was a thing! Need to have an ultrasound and blood test which she will arrange in the next two weeks, and then depending on that an X-ray with contrast to see if there are any blockages.

It was nice to actually speak to someone who understood what we are going through and feel so relieved that we are finally moving forward.
So glad they

Anyone else realise they’ve not got a scooby about their body when trying to get pregnant 😂😂😂

My cycle is all over the places since coming off the pill in October. Dr says potential PCOS (buy my periods were regular before I came off the pill).

Haven’t a clue when I ovulate. My body feels the same all month long apart from spots a few days pre AF.

men have it easy 😂🥴

I came off in October too. What are your cycles like? I’ve been using the clear blue ovulation tests to give me an idea of when I actually ovulate and it’s made me realise there are symptoms I didn’t even realise beforehand - sore boobs are the main one. I have now ordered some of the cheaper OPKs now I have better understanding. It’s a complete minefield 🤯

Sometimes 28 days on the dot. Sometimes 40 days. I spoke to Dr as the long cycles were worrying me. Waiting now to go for an ultrasound of my ovaries to check theyre in working order. I read online about pill induced PCOS and that sounds realistic as my cycles have always been 28 days since I had my first period!

Do you recommend the ovulation tests? I’ve been winging it as we’ve stopped trying not to have a baby rather then actively thing to have one.

Mine have been between 29-32 but my last was 36 which I put down to my surgery last month delaying my body (you’ve got me worried now 😂) I’ve been on the mini pill for so long I hadn’t had a period in years so I have no idea about my cycle length or anything.

I found them useful to work out when in the cycle I actually ovulated (I honestly had no idea about stuff like this) and i was buzzing when I got my first peak fertility sign 🤣 but they are expensive hence why I’ve ordered some cheapies to use. My Flo app tells me when I’m due to be ovulating and is a chance to get pregnant, so when that flashes up I start doing the ovulation tests until I get peak.

Feel like I have no idea what I’m doing but I’m going with it 😂

I will buy some then I think! Thanks. I have started to over analyse my body but I feel normal most of the time so I can’t tell when I am ovulating. Hope the tests help.

@Sailorontheseasea heya 🥰

I’m having a bit of a mare! I’ve been lightly spotting TMI - brown blood but not even a light flow really (not even blood really either - just on tissue and spots) since Sunday afternoon. It’s tailed off so I took a FRER this morning and it’s a very white negative! So I’m not sure what’s going on! I don’t know if to count that as my period but it really doesn’t feel heavy enough to be a proper period?! It’s also my first off the pill so I’m technically on CD34 so I think I’m gonna have to almost just see what happens over the next few days? I’m so confused!

mine vary between 30 & 37 days.. never sure if this actually counts as irregular
My periods are 22-29 days. On one or two occasions it’s been day 31 over thé last 2 years. On average my period is 24 days.
On thé Flo app it tells me my periods are irregular even though every month I have a period. If the cycle length varies up to 7 days then it’s seen as regular. So I’m guessing yours is regular.

Hey girls! This has prob been asked loads but I’m not actually trying, just worrying so going to buy a test and wondering if you always test with your first wee of the day? Or any time will do?

FMU if you can but if you’re late then any time should do

Thanks, now I’m just hoping I need a wee soon! I don’t want to drink loads in case it dilutes lol.
First response early result are the most sensitive - I would try and do a 3hr hold or if you can wait, wait until the morning but I know it can be tricky!
