Can I ask did you get any early symptoms ? ❤
No major symptoms. I had sore boobs for a day last week but I usually get that before AF. I did notice that I wasn’t getting any usual painful cramps, but thought it was in my mind. Sorry that’s not much help. 😅

Hey everyone! Joining this thread.
been trying to conceive for 2.5 years now. I already have a 3.5 year old.
I have had an ectopic and 3 miscarriages in the last year. The most recent miscarriage was about 9 weeks ago and I’m currently on my first cycle since, hoping that because I’m meant to be more fertile at the moment it happens for us quickly. Although, I don’t know how I would cope with another loss.
I don’t know if or when I’ve ovulated on the cycle but we have done the deed🙃 sorry I’m a prude, a lot of times since my period stopped so fingers crossed!
according to my app I’m due on in 4 days so we will see- trying not to think about it too much but it’s so hard, I want nothing more than to give my child a sibling. Also it’s very scary trying for another when I’ve already had an ectopic and lost one of my tubes, but I’ve successfully conceived since then so hopefully this will be fifth time lucky. My other miscarriages have been blighted ovum’s/mmc.

Sorry I’m rambling a bit 😂 I never speak to anyone about it so it feels good writing it down.
Hi ,
So sorry for your loss. ❤
Make sure you take your time to heal. I know it’s not easy.
Can I ask have you got your bloods thoroughly checked out to see if you have any blood conditions ?
What has your doctor said about miscarriages ?
If you had 3 miscarriages in a row will the NHS not investigate ?

No thank you. It’s still early and we are wired different. Congratulations again. 😆❤

Hey! Thank you ❤
I had my bloods done about six months ago to rule out ovarian cancer which thank god everything came back normal. I think if I have another miscarriage I’m going to ask them to investigate but the whole thing really scares me, and me and my partner have kind of just agreed what will be will be. It is just so strange because my child was not planned and it was such an easy pregnancy so it is really frustrating for us, I do believe though that everything happens for a reason and I genuinely in my heart believe that it will happen for us when the time is right ❤

does anyone use ovulation tests/pre mom app? my results are SO low.. below 1 always, yet I do have other symptoms of ovulation like discharge etc, I have never got a peak or yes to ovulation. I have periods that are between 30-36 days I don't know if that would be considered irregular but now I'm wondering if I ovulate at all

Have you used the clear blue digital ones?

That's a lot to go through in a year, sending you lots of love. I've also had an ectopic pregnancy in the past and the thought of it happening again is scary. Can I ask what treatment you had for it? I was so lucky to keep both tubes, will always be grateful for that.

It’s been a truly tit year that’s for sure!
I went into hospital with bleeding and pain, had my scan and the pregnancy was actually growing on my ovary which is so so rare, but it ruptured my tube so I was having key hole surgery within the hour. It was so hard from thinking I was pregnant to having an operation (which I had never had surgery in my life) all within the space of an hour or two. I don’t think I’ll ever get over it tbh. Your very lucky you kept your tube! Did you just have to take some medication? You must of caught it really early, although I was only about 6 weeks when this happened!

Do you test more than once a day when it does start increasing? Mines lower in the mornings and evenings but early afternoon it tends to peak the highest

Oh gosh, that is rare! It's a lot to process.
Mine was weird. They couldn't find where it had implanted but my HCG was rising quite significantly (but not enough to be viable). I had a laparoscopy to try to locate it as was in a lot of pain by then but even then they couldn't find it. 🥺 A week of monitoring later they finally spotted it in my left tube and treated with methotrexate. Was such a saga, was in hospital for nearly 3 weeks because they were too scared to let me leave not knowing where it was. Sending you all the positive vibes! 🤞😊

That’s really good that they kept monitoring you and didn’t let it get any worse! It’s such a scary thing and so hard to spot because it is so small at that stage! Atleast you have two tubes left :)
Thanks for the positivity! I am very positive about everything and I just keep telling myself that it definitely will happen when the time is right ❤

Had our fertility appointment today! Some positives, she called my husbands sperm ‘super sperm’ 🤣 doesn’t know if I have PCOS or PCO, which I didn’t even know was a thing! Need to have an ultrasound and blood test which she will arrange in the next two weeks, and then depending on that an X-ray with contrast to see if there are any blockages.

It was nice to actually speak to someone who understood what we are going through and feel so relieved that we are finally moving forward.

I am aware of the SMEG but my fertility window starts as soon as my period finishes. As soon as my period stops I start the OPK tests. I do follow having sex every other day. Once I get peak fertility I have sex on that day and the next day.

I am intrigued by following it but I’m a little bit unsure about starting OPK just yet but wonder if it’s worthless without it?

As my cycles are short and my fertile window is relatively earlier. But it does change as I have monthly cycles but my periods are irregular. The clear blue ovulation sticks lasts for months for myself. I am happy with them but I have not fallen pregnant yet.
The last time I used them religiously and then the next month I stopped I became pregnant.
Life is about to get busy from April so I am going to continue using them. My focus won’t be so intense during the TWW.
Why don’t you try the SMEG method for a certain period. If it does not work try the ovulation sticks.

Or just have regular sex every 2-3 days and during fertile window every other day.

We have too much time in our hands so we are always thinking. Can’t wait for this pandemic to be truly over.

thank you. I feel you - this is only our second cycle and we swore it would be relaxed but I think it’s actually proved how much we actually really want a second and I start to worry now our age gap gets bigger and bigger.

i think we will try the regular and then up it during the fertile window. I think CM is a good way to track (without an OPK) so perhaps we’ll try that this cycle and see how we go.
It’ll be lovely to not have to hyper focus on the TWW!

This might be a load of rubbish and clearly has no medical basis but just a thought...

I read about the goodness of manuka honey so started having a tablespoon a day. It’s the only thing that changed when we were trying to conceive for years without success. We’ve been on the pregncare vitamins etc for years and were about to start ivf. Lots of surgeries for endometriosis etc.

2 months after starting with the honey, we conceived! Probably a coincidence but you never know xxx
